Our family of five stayed here on our drive back from visiting relatives in the UK, and it turned out to be the highlight of our journey. We’ve stayed at four different places across France on our various trips, and this was by far the best experience. At first, we weren’t planning on having the optional three course dinner, but we decided to go for it, and we’re so glad we did. The food and wine were absolutely spectacular. Being able to relax and enjoy a beautiful meal on site, without the need to head out searching for food, was such a welcome luxury. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. We loved the little details, window screens to let in the fresh air without the bugs, effective fans, and just an overall peaceful atmosphere. We slept wonderfully. The property itself is truly a slice of heaven. It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, calm, beautiful, and serene. There were lovely views, majestic horses, and even some rather handsome chickens wandering the yard. Our kids enjoyed the foosball, ping pong, and the pool to cool off in the summer heat. While we often travel with our dog and would have to choose a different spot when he’s with us, we’ll definitely be back when it’s just the family. This place is a gem. I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to hit the road again.

The property is off the beaten path in a very small community. We stayed here as a one-night stopover to break up a drive. If we knew how great the experience would be, we would have considered staying another day just to enjoy the beauty. The host lives on one side of the historic cottage while we were on the other side. Although connected, we felt very private. Considering the age of the house, the amenities are very modern. Everything was thought of in this property… many outlets, hooks for towels and other things that many properties do not consider. We were also able to use the terrace in front of the house. We enjoyed a wine and cheese dinner on what felt like our own private terrace. As this is considered a B&B, we also took advantage of the amazing breakfast. We have stayed at many B&Bs and have never been so impressed with a breakfast. Not only was the food of the highest quality, but the host played nice music in the background in a beautiful dining area.

    Nice hotel in a typical French style. The entrance room is beautifully decorated, and the restaurant is of an excellent quality and in a nice setting. Rooms are comfortable and large, and somewhat old-fashioned but in a cosy way (older furniture, but of good quality). Good breakfast in a small side-room. A few parking spots in front of the hotel, or in the side street

    The hotel is situated in a quaint little town giving it a very romanticized factor which would appeal to some. Breakfast was okay for a place which prides on their gastronomy but I am sure that it dose not speak to the quality of their restaurant which I hope is superior.
