We already had high expectations, given the photos and the glowing reviews. But it exceeded all our expectations: the property and its grounds are spectacular, the rooms beautiful and immaculate. The outdoor pool was heaven! Breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved the cherries from the owners’ garden

    Easy to get around by car - 4 cars on the road was rush hour...

    Easy to get around by car - 4 cars on the road was rush hour. Great bakery in Merziere and good little supermarket - very friendly owner. The grounds of the property were great for walking with a number of tracks from the property or near by. The lakes were within 30 minutes drive and full of birds. The breakfast is a real bonus. For wildlife lovers the Brenne area is superb.
