Very spacious rooms with aircon, fridge and fans and a large tv. The location was perfect for us, you can reach the Cathedral and main restaurants within 10 mins. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. They gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations and provided us with a map of the must sees. Would stay here again without hesitation. Rouen is a marvellous small city, offering plenty of historical sites and little gems to discovery. The food is amazing, if you stay away from Non-European Cuisine. 😅 Rouen has its own speed, very vibrant yet relaxing. A true treat for your eyes.

In the 24 hours we had, we visited the cathedral, Joan of Arc’s church and the Musée de Beaux Arts, all really interesting. Had a lovely meal in a Paul’s, a very traditional restaurant by the cathedral.

Rouen is a most attractive town with wonderful gothic and timber framed buildings. Extremely walkable everywhere. Lots of fun speciality shops, decent groceries and good restaurants. Lively with lots of sidewalk cafe people watching. Viking river cruise boats stop here and during the mid-day you will see big cruise boat tours coming from Le Harve. The train station is very tidy, helpful and convenient.

Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed.
Our last visit was 10 years ago and Rouen has changed. The charming pedestrian street to the Horloge is peppered with American fast-food joints and the bodies of the homeless sleeping under the arches. It certainly detracts from the historic city of Jeanne d'Arc.

Stunning city with beautiful architecture.
Stunning city with beautiful architecture. Easy to park and to get around. Plenty of pedestrian streets. Highly recommend a visit to the cathedral - free entry and open quite late. The Sunday market was amazing - a combination of food stalls, clothing, antiques and books. Could happily have spent a couple of hours there. The city also has a great selection of independent shops and of course lots of cafes and restaurants.. Well worth a visit
Perfect place to stay in Rouen!♥️ Comfortable room, clean and quiet (which is super cool comparing to some other places in historic city centres where you can hear everything happening in rooms nearby). A/C is definitely a plus in the summer. Hotel is dedicated to Gustave Flaubert and you can see it on each step - really nice and interesting. Breakfast has relatively small choice but definitely enough to start your day and is more than just a coffe with croissant😁 5 minutes walk from the main Cathedral and other sightseeing places.
This is probably the coolest place that we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels. Everything about this place was amazing. The hot tub and the sauna were spectacular. The glass floor was a really nice touch and the bedroom in the cellar was almost like a fairytale it was so nice.
The water heater was great, which is not always the case when staying in France and the shower was also very nice. What a great place to stay. We would love to come back and stay again sometime.
We just expected more from a KYRIAD hotel, because we arrived from St Malo, where we stayed at the same hotel. The staff was friendly. There were 2 parking options (free - in front of the hotel, paid - in the garage below the hotel), but you don't find every day a parking spot in these 2 locations. The hotel is located in a vicinity of a busy avenue, but you didn't hear the noise of the street. After a 10-15 minute walk, you reach the Centre of Rouen which is surprisingly a beautiful city.
The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The room was small but adequate for one night . The bed was very comfortable with good linen. The location was good just out of the main hub of the city but well within walking for restaurants and bars and historic sites. The breakfast was very good plenty of choice the coffee was good. The owner was very attentive making sure guests had everything they wanted. Parking was just round the corner with parking consession from the hotel.
I can say quite confidently that the host Marie-Christine will be the kindest, most helpful and genuinely lovely host that you will meet during your travels in France. I am also confident that you will not find a more welcoming and comfortable place to stay in Rouen. The location is perfect and the breakfasts prepared by Marie-Christine were wonderful. She has thought of everything to make your stay as memorable as possible.
Very nice start to our holiday in France. Good trip from Calais to Rouen. Only issue is that it is a bit tricky getting to it in the old quarter but if you persist and find it the location is great for all access to tourist attractions. It is a comfortable hotel and nice breakfast. Rooms are a bit small but adequate. Parking in nearby NCP is good once you have figured it out.
Lovely stylish and comfortable hotel at a really affordable price.
The staff were really friendly and accommodated.
The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The hotel had a number of restaurants, fast food locations, shops and cafes very near by and we (as a family of 5 including an 8 & 10 year old as well as a baby) happily walked into Rouen.
The location was amazing (once you get parked). A short walk from the car park to the hotel but fine. Every street in the area is a gem. I cant believe after visiting France at least once a year for last 20years my first visit here. It reminds me of Troyes a bit but more to see - Loved it!! 1 night not enough
Great stopover on route to Southern France. The staff were welcoming and the hotel much better standard than expected. Great family hotel with toys for the children. Room was of a high standard, with robes and quality furnishings. Highly recommend.
Rouen was a really great city too!
Great location and lovely old hotel. Breakfast was wonderful. Family room was a fantastic set up— ideal for our kids and us. Highly recommend as long as stairs are ok (or you check for accessible rooms) and you like a beautiful historical hotel with a few quirks. We loved it.
Very friendly staff, 10mins walk in to the historical centre and 2mins from the river front with lots of lovely bars / restaurants. Perfect for a stop over on travelling to South West France. Rouen is a lovely, old town to walk around, tall spires and good shopping.
Very comfortable. Great breakfast. short walk (10/15 mins) to centre of Rouen.
staff very friendly and accommodating, especially Yasseen.
safe payable car park.
Guests can use the pool etc at the Mercure hotel next door.
Would definitely make a return visit.
Beautiful hotel right across the road from the train station. It was great to arrive and see it. Would take less than a minute to get to it. It's a short walk from the historic centre of Rouen. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful.
It was a good value -- it was very cheap compared to other hotels in the city. The rooms and facilities were also clean. Breakfast was decent and not overpriced. The private parking lot was large and easy to access.
The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and was spacious. Parking was available for a reasonable fee, and the hotel is located near the cathedral and other sites. The staff was very friendly, too.
This was the best hotel within our northern France trip. Clean and modern. Very good facilities.
Parking was a bit tight, but still was the most spacious compared to others.
On the first day we arrived in Rouen, we were not sure about the parking location. The hotel staff explained it to us kindly and were also very friendly during our stay.
