The location was ideal. We enjoyed our visit to the Musée, Monet's garden and the house. We also loved the baguettes from the local bakery. It was a wonderful village to celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary.

It was situated in a charming, “ancien” chateau right on the quaint cobblestone street of Rue Claude Monet. October, and still the lane was filled with flowers! Véronique was an extraordinarily gracious host, offering to pick us up from the train station. We found the accommodations delightful—very cozy and well appointed, everything we needed in this sweet lair above her art studio. It was a 5 minute walk to Claude Monets gardens and home, and a 2 minute walk to the beautiful old church where he and family members were buried. We spent 3 days walking in the picturesque hills above Giverny, through farmland and forests. It was relaxing and quaint and slow-paced, a world away from Paris.

This place is excellent! Beautiful and cozy! The hosts were father and daughter, very wonderful and pleasant. We felt safe and at home. Their breakfast was delicious, prepared by Luciano. Location is walking distance to Monet’s house and gardens. Bathroom was very clean, the bed was a king size and very comfortable. We will be coming back!

The host, location, everything was absolutely perfect. Elisa could not have been more accommodating & helpful! It is definitely listed among our very favorite places.
A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes.
A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes. The Museum was interesting and held beautiful artwork of Impressionists. Monet's garden and house were a treat to visit. Our timing was perfect - there was much in bloom and the weather was cooperative. There were hidden monuments - Monet's bust, the monument to him and his family. And the house was beautifully replicated.

Beautiful village, with a sense of peace and quietness despite many tourists. Monets garden is absolutely worth a visit as well as the impressionist museum. We had dinner at the new restaurant “Oscar” at the museum (excellent food at a fair price, definitely recommend it)

This centre was lacking in the overall character of a village. The gardens were the focus. But there was very little opportunity to enjoy the village separate to the gardens as there were no shops to buy local cheese, yes there is a bakery but no partisse. It had character but no sole.

We loved the gardens and house although very busy.
We loved the gardens and house although very busy. Glad we chose the earlier booking option as by the time we left it was mobbed. If we had longer we would have gone to the museum too, however, we were en route south and needed to get going.
Like it even better once we left the pre booked disgusting Les Rouges Gorges and paid for another stay at the idyllic La Dime.

Giverny is quiet and beautiful. Completely walkable.
Giverny is quiet and beautiful. Completely walkable. Try to stay in town for the best experience, but note that there are only a few restaurants open after 6 p.m. We missed out on the combination ticket for Monet's Gardens and the Impressionist Museum, but both were worth the full price, so we didn't mind. There are a few lovely little shops as well, 2 which support the Monet Gardens. And a highlight for me personally was a sweet, older local man who offered me a fresh fig from his garden, and peeled it for me. Delightful!
The swimming pool was lovely and the breakfast.
The owner provided fresh croissants, pain au chocolate and bread every morning. Fresh orange juice, coffee jam and butter were also provided.
The house the studio was attached to was beautiful and the gardens were lovely.
The house was also very close to Monet’s garden and house, a 5 minute walk.
The village of Giverny was idyllic.
The owner also gave us some champagne on arrival which was very thoughtful. Small beers and water were waiting on us in the fridge.
Afaf and Alain were exceptional hosts, very friendly and helpful during our quick overnight stay - gave us bread, hand-picked strawberries from their garden, and water & juice in the fridge. The home is so beautifully kept, the terrace is perfect for a little snooze and they let us wamder theit garden. We were about a 10 min walk to Claude Monet's house, so easy to walk around the town. We would absolutely come back to visit Giverny and the rest of the Normandy region again. Also, their dog prada is so cute!
The location is perfect for visiting Monet’s gardens. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The hosts are delightful, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and it was served in a lovely sunroom. I cannot say enough about how our brief stay with Luciano and his wife and their adorable dog Marcello made the highlight of our trip to Giverny even more memorable. Merci beaucoup! Grazie!
A charming and unusual property in Giverny centre only a few hundred yards from Monets garden. Quirky french , shabby chic interior with lovely comfy bad. Breakfast all laid out ready, we just had to wander down to the bakery for the fresh stuff, baguette, croissants etc. Perfect. Christine, our host, was lovely given that it was almost midnight when we finally arrived from Dieppe.
It was a delight from the moment we arrived. Am so pleased we stayed here and can’t wait to stay again. The hosts were wonderful and we even had homemade jam made by them and fruit from their garden. Charming hosts. They thought of everything and exceeded expectation. Luxury bathroom / stand alone shower. Big bed and in the middle of Giverny. Wow. A truly special place.
Location wise, it was close to some cute spots in and around Giverny. It is a beautiful walk around the river, Claude Monet museum. Unfortunately a lot was closed during our visit as we went out of season but it is location friendly.
The property was antique, cost friendly, old school yet kept pretty.
We had a wonderful stay! Comfortable, quiet and well located to wander Giverny with ease. Our hosts were wonderful, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, best pastries! Along with fruit, yogurt, coffee… we would definitely stay again
The location of the house, the charming hostess and her warm sense of hospitality, the wonderful garden. We liked the house in itself, the arrangement of the rooms. Giverny is a place to visit anyway if you are fond of flowers, gardens and impressionism.
Perfect location in Giverny and a very comfortable stay. The host left a bottle of artisan apple juice and packet of biscuits for us, which was a very thoughtful and welcomed gesture given that we arrived late in the afternoon without any food supplies.
The location was excellent. I caught a train from Paris to Vernon then hired a bike to ride to Giverny. The accomodation was easy to find and a short ride to restaurants and Monet's house along a beautiful road which was a pleasure to ride along.
Charmy small B&B in Giverny. We spent two nights as a start on our Normandie Week
Arrived late from CHdeG and we got what we expected.
Maybe they will need to improve their breakfast coffe:)
Location was optimal for visiting Monets garden. We did not have a car so walking to the gardens and restaurant in town was very easy. Took taxi from/to train station. Very quiet location.
Wonderful room in Giverny. Lovely host, great breakfast. Excellent facility. Close to Claude Monet house and gardens. Numerous restaurants. Parking on premises.
Beautiful property right near the Monet house/garden. Host is wonderful and super sweet. Would recommend anyone thinking of spending their time in Giverny.
