The room was quiet and clean. Loved the hamman, sauna and massage at the Nuxe Spa. Food at the bistro was very good. Breakfast was splendid, fresh food every morning. Exceptional service from Julie and Simon. Will return.

We absolutely loved the location and were made to feel very welcome by Stephanie on arrival. Our room was by far the largest we’ve had on our trip. We also had the table d’hotes prepared by Stephanie - and she is an amazing cook! Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven.

We have visited many Plus Beaux Village de France but was suprised to find such a lovely one this far North. It was completely unspoilt deep in a forest, suprise! One house had the date of 1492 carved on it.

Lyon-La-Foret was the perfect town to launch our 23 days stay in France. We wanted a place that was a relatively short distance from CDG airport where we could collect from our flight from the U.S. The town is Normanesque with great eateries and even the market. We parked the car when we arrived and were able to navigate on foot for the two nights we stayed in town.

We were in vintage cars and there was plenty of safe private parking for the cars. The location is just perfect and the restaurant food in the bistro was very good. The rooms are all very different and I would recommend this hotel for a group visit. We decided to go on the bus to Rouen and for 2€ each way this was well worth doing.
We loved this location. It is in a beautiful town, forest and fields surrounding it, and it wasn't too far from towns and amenities. The staff were lovely and breakfasts really enjoyable with fresh cheese and bread. The room was very comfortable and the massive bath a bonus, although we would have liked a shower on the morning that we were leaving so that was a downside. The hotel has been done up very sympathetically to the original structure which we loved. The town is quiet at night so we had peaceful rest.
Beautiful Hotel in beautiful historic Normandy village with spa/pool. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cottages with private terraced garden which was wonderful and actually cheaper than a double room in the hotel. The Spa is relaxing and pool is great and most welcome as it was 34 degrees. Breakfast was really nice service was good. The village is an absolute gem
Location and the town was as attractive as the promo had said.
Dinner was taken at the bistro at the partner hotel. Good menu choices and dinner was pretty good.
Private parking was included and the ladies on reception were friendly and tried to explain the rather weird arrangements.
Breakfast was exceptionally good with plenty of choice of quality offerings
Nice room, very comfy bed. Breakfast was ok. Parking a motorbike on the area behind the hotel better than the gravel at the sister hotel. The receptionist was great, very helpful and came to find me when I arrived.
Didn’t get time/chance to try the spa/pool unfortunately.
It's a beautifully decorated hotel, in a beautifully restored old building. The room was small but comfortable, with a good bathroom and comfy bed. There's a spa and outside pool available as well as private parking. Lyons-la-Foret is a very cute town!
Located a short drive from the beautiful village of Lyons-la-Foret and bordering onto the forest. A charming traditional farm with old buildings and stables. The owner and her friendly dog greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour around the stables.
Good bedding and facilities in well designed room. The ancient village is remarkable. Market right in front of the hotel. Dining in the bistro downstairs very convenient. Nice atmosphere and good food.
A thoughtfully run and good looking hotel in a beautiful location. We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant and loved relaxing in the Spa. The staff were super helpful and attentive too.
There was a nice restaurant at this hotel that we dined in during our stay. The town is very small, so it was nicely located to walk to the town square.
