Le Trèfle a Quatre feuilles is a quiet country hotel with a great restaurant. The surrounding villages and countryside are wonderful for walking or driving around and the medieval architecture is inspirational. A car is an absolute necessity There is not a lot to do in mid winter and many of the smaller shops are closed so the area is for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy the delicious food and local wine and wallow in the history dating back to the crusades and Richard the Lionheart. In summer there are lots of markets selling anything from vegetables to antiques and one would probably want to choose a hotel with a poolMohamedMorocco - 8.0Scored 8.0

This is a fantastic base to explore nearby tourist sites such as Lacaux and other caves, chateaux, beautiful cliff-nestled towns such a La Roque-Gageac. The town itself has all amenities and town center is very picturesque.

It is the most beautiful location, with the most delightful owners, who were always around to help with anything we needed. The restaurant within the hotel is fabulous, and the homemade breakfast is just another level of yumminess !
