Walking distance from everywhere and so safe.Hotel so comfortable. Doloras,
Fantastic staff, very helpful we went for a birthday trip for my husband and couldn't fault it. We stayed in a junior suite which was very nice exactly as described on website. Photos didn't do it justice.
great central location to a lot of the tourist attractions. all within walking distance.
Minor point, tv did not work
Good location, not far from City and West End (though rather far off the Tube if you need one) with rooms facing a quiet backyard. The rooms are comfy, tidy, many with great views. Bathroom is fabulous with a big shower and clean bathtub. Tasty breakfasts. Great room service. Surprisingly good heating (for UK).
Breakfasts are overpriced. And by overpriced I mean that. £20 for full English (which was not truly full) is way too much. Also be careful about the prices: for one of the rooms I agreed a price a few days before arrival, but on checking-in I was requested bigger amount. Only after requesting to re-check I was allowed to pay what had been agreed, so I had perception that the price was just made up. Also, it was a bit annoying when on paying for breakfast I was constantly reminded about not having balance left on my room, specifically taking into account that I pre-paid £5000+ for our stay. Windows in one of our rooms were locked, so the room lacked fresh air. All the rooms definitely lack lighing. All in all, I liked the hotel, but cannot say I have found my 'the one' in London.
The kindness of the reception staff who sent complimentary chocolates to our room for my partner after we announced it was my partner's birthday was a wonderful surprise.
The service at breakfast was sadly not comparable to the high standard at dinner.
Great location, walking distance to a lot of places. The public transportation is nearby. Great customer service. The room is spacious and modern. The view in the patio is perfect :)
Excellent first impression which extended into the rest of stay. Quality hotel carefully avoiding being too pretentious. "Discounted" rate was amazing value.
Would have appreciated a more comfortable seating arrangement. Seat at foot of bed not really adequate. Very noisy shower/bathroom in room above. Considering rate however, we could not really complain.
Our room was very large and comfortable. We had a large bath and a very large douche. The staff were very nice. The wifi was very fast, more than other hotels we have been in Europe
Small room. Problem with the heating
i loved the decor, the spaciousness of the room, and the staff.
It was a little farther from the center of things, so we did a lot of walking, but that ended up being great too.
the location is simply great
Great location, lovely hotel with friendly helpful.
Our stay would have been even better if the bed was slightly softer. Have stayed at other hotel of a similar standard and the beds have been more comfortable. The pillows were very good though.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location between Trafalgar Square and St Paul's is ideal for sight seeing. The room was very comfortable and quiet and all the facilities were excellent.
It was all good :)
Great location. Lovely big bed. Bath and separate shower Absolutely excellent, wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
Not wild about feather pillows and duvets so would like an option. Minor thing really.
The hotel and all the facilities. The three shows we took in and all the wonderful sights of London Plus the meals and drinks with excellent company.
Only one little niggle the traffic noise through the night.
Everything very poor hotel in all respects needs a lot of help . Breakfast was very bad . Rooms that you thought you were getting were falsely represented in photos on your site. Staff very rude and arrogant . Ordered transfer car to airport and driver fell asleep at the wheel company was Keens transport . Will not recommend this hotel . Money for nothing why should I have to pay to tell them where they fail?.........
From the elephant at the front door, to the comfort of our room, we loved everything!
There was absolutely nothing we did not like.
- the bus stop just in front of hotel, so you can just easily go anywhere you want to - london eye, big ben, covent garden near the hotel - cozy hotel, comfort bed - instead of free tea and coffe, they give us free cookies, chips, choco powder - the reception is helpfull
- we have to wait almost 2 hours untill the rooms ready - book superior rooms, but apparantly there are many types of superior rooms, so make sure you got the spacious one (coz i wasn't) -i'm not really satisfied with the housekeeping, coz we have to ask tea, sugar, bathfoam, towel to fullfil every single day
The welcome and facilities in the room were excellent. The breakfast was also good.
The room, particularly the bathroom, was very cold as we were unsolicited to turn of (a very loud), extractor fan in yhe bathroom.
Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff, room was lovely, clean and spacious, bathroom fantastic. The location for us was perfect, within walking distance of covent garden and the lyceum.
My husband and I stayed at the apex temple court for 11 wonderful nights in the Christmas season of 2014. The room was impeccably clean and was a great size. The bathroom had a separate shower and tub(a huge soaker tub I might add). The staff we friendly and helpful at all times and seemed to really enjoy their work. We ordered room service several times and found it to be consistent and very good each time. We were only a short hope from all the major tourist attractions and shopping.you could either walk or a short tube ride away from everything. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely make this my London destination!!!
