I did not stay in the premises. I had to find an alternative accommodation. I have asked for my money back and yet to get the refund. The room was filthy, the bedspread and pillow cases already used by another visitor(s) dirty linen and very rough not ironed. I sent a message by text to the proprietor about my experience and he apologised, but I told him that i wanted the money paid back and he sent me a text to return keys through the letter box and refund would be sent to me. I am still expecting my refund. it is a regret

Historic Gateway to Gatwick

The Sussex market town of Crawley is just south of Gatwick Airport, London’s 2nd busiest passenger terminal after Heathrow.

Its train station links directly to Gatwick, as well as to Victoria Station in London to the north, and Brighton to the south. Set roughly midway between the 2 cities, the town has long been an important stopping place. One of its 17th-century coaching inns – the George Hotel – still exists under the name of the Ramada Crawley Gatwick and is available on Booking.com.

However, the town’s history dates back much further than that. Records show it as being a market town as early as the 13th century, and its central Goffs Park has a museum containing some Stone Age remains found here.

Tilgate Park to the south has a lake, nature reserve and one of Crawley’s 3 golf courses. The town’s other leisure activities include bowling, a cinema and a collection of restaurants and pubs. The high street is a mix of historic buildings and modern shops, and more stores are found at Crawley County Mall.

Practically all of the Crawley hotels, guest houses and country houses provide parking and a few also have features such as swimming pools and gyms.

    This hotel has had bad reviews i have travelled and stayed in many 5 star hotels and honestly could not find any faults.The reception were warm and welcoming the rooms clean and tidy no air con but fans provided Comfortable firm bed. Breakfast lots of choice and freshly cooked and dinner in the evening set meal for £12.50 each choice of 3 starters 3 main meals 3 desserts and drink.Honestly why do people complain for no reason when the staff are very helpful

    Crawley is a lovely place to take a stroll and explore. We really enjoyed the local pubs, restaurants, and peaceful parks. The people were friendly and welcoming, and the architecture throughout the town is beautiful. It’s a charming spot!

    The Little Foxes was excellent and the manager booked me a cab to Gatwick for my flight the following morning - the cab company I originally reserved with had let me down. There is a local bus service (no 22) from Gatwick which stops outside Little Foxes - very convenient if you don't drive.

    I was in Crawley to visit The Hawth theatre for a show. It was a brilliant venue and I would recommend it to anyone planning a visit. The facilities were great at the staff were helpful and friendly. Large car park on site.

    Very convenient location for access to Gatwick airport. It's easy to get there via train or taxi. The room was clean and comfortable and Natil was friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was easy and the arrangements were clearly communicated well ahead of arrival. If you have time to visit Crawley, the property is located very close to the bus service and takes about 10 minutes to get into the town centre.

    Lock on door didn’t work but guy on reception repaired it as soon as I reported it so that was good but whoever cleaned the room should have checked and reported it. Bed was comfortable, room warm, plenty of hot water and WiFi ok. On Fastway 10 bus route to/from South terminal via Crawley town centre eating places and a Toby carvery.
