The breakfast, location, parking, helpful staff
My original room on arrival hadn't even been cleaned from the first occupant leaving !. the next room was very dated and tired tbh the whole place could do with a major makeover and at the price I paid I wasn't impressed at all
The food was good & overall the hotel was reasonable value for money
Hotel in need of a refit, with most fittings fairly tatty. Service was poor in the bar & I had to keep walking through to reception to order a drink.
We have stayed here before and never been a problem - nice staff , comfortable .
Unfortunately there was a Party which we was not aware of - very noisy all night and we had a 7 week old baby with us and could not settle. Fighting in the corridors outside our room - sleepless night and had to drive back home ( 2.5 hours ) on the motorway not good when you have not had much sleep.
Great staff good room a great breakfast!
Location was fine but the hotel is a bit run down, restaurant was OK
Comfort was not good and there are too many glass marks on tables
the breakfast was good
the bedroom was not very accessible no lift to the third floor then to far to walk also having booked a twin bed room the second bed was like a camp bed which was changed after complaining
No problem with hotel, food etc.
1st night kept awake by slamming of doors from about 2 a.m. and talking. I assume by night staff. Moved my room 2nd night continual talking outside by I assume night staff. Early hours. It certainly wasn't residents. Checked out and slept on settee of relative.
Location was good. Staff friendly. Food good, however breakfast buffet a bit cool.
Grounds are like a wasteland and need tidying up. Appearances do count. Air circulation is very poor.
Really nice room and good food. Staff very helpful. Easy to find and easy to park.
Liked it all really but the location is not what one might call 'central'.
Excellent restaurant service, we arrived late but the restaurant waitress was very helpful and attentive. A most enjoyable evening meal.
Sadly the shower in our bathroom wasn't working, it wasn't mentioned on arrival and we weren't aware until needing to use the shower the following morning.
Decent tv and free wifi
Was working nights yet on second floor so very noisey!woken up on numerous occations by other guests and cleaners, Room was dated and dirty scuff marks on walls.
24 hr bar
Beds were really comfortable, good nights sleep, staff were really accomodating, we had to send for more tea bags!!
Wifi was free, but none of us could log on to our devices!!
Everything was fine
Would recommend the executive suite. Spacious bathroom and bedroom and very clean. Bowl of fruit and biscuits a bonus.
We overslept and missed our breakfast - therefore would have liked breakfast to have been served up to 11.00 am instead of 10.00 am
first impression of reception was impressive good staff quick check in
shortage of staff one young person trying his best to serve meals in restaurant and customers at the bar.limited menu
The staff were polite and helpful. They changed the rooms as per our needs, as I needed telephone acces to another of my family at all times, and were helpful in having an oxygen concentrator in my own room. They did not help in finding out why I only received a 10% discount on the bookings when Booking.com had e-mailed me repeatedly stating that I should have 20%.
The hotel rooms are now looking even more tired and desperately in need of redecoration. Not all the rooms have a working telephone, which is exactly the same as when we were there 16 months ago. We did not use the other facilities as we were there for a family funeral.
it was clean and tidy
call to prayer at 10 pm with very loud chanting every night of my stay 3 days in a row smell of incense and people hanging out in hallways
Friendliness of the staff
Room could have done with a vacuum before we were offered it
Poor wifi couldn't connect
Reception staff very friendly and efficient
Decor very tired looking.bathroom needs updating.
Friendly reception. Very nice decor - clean where it counted at very good price for overnight stay.
The bed was very hard - not firm - just hard - 1 night ok - pillows were like bricks. Too late to do anything about it when you are in bed and half asleep. Spare pillows would have been useful.
