very clean beds comfortable receptionist polite & helpful
smell in bathroom ? drains shower mouldy shower no water pressure walls thin staff confused & gave conflicting advice
Clean and comfortable
Paying for drinks at reception when comfortable in the bar !
Closeness to My son's college.
Rude staff. Needed a water bottle at night, Could not contact any body for over half an hour. No body cleaned the room when I extended my stay by one day. No body replaced toiletters for the next day
Clean, nice room, friendly staff, good Wi-Fi signal in the foyer and restaurant, though a bit unreliable in my room. Very cheap. Easy to find and just a short walk out of town.
Breakfast was a confusing affair (though that's maybe just because I'm not used to hotels), and wasn't especially hot.
For me, all good.
Didn't see anything which I didn't like.
I woke up to 30 or so wasps in the room and bathroom. Bottom of toilet bowl stained.
Location was not bad and the staff did provide a fan when requested
A very hot room with a small bed and a poor design. The ironing board had loose wires that I complained about for safety reasons but this was ignored despite several reminders; the wake up call I requested was ignored
Able to walk into town as the weather was nice; better suited to business people
Inattentive reception staff, no fridge or glasses in room
The staff were friendly and efficient we used the hotel as a break in our journey
The room service food was good. The staff were pleasant.
The hotel is quite dated and could do with some renovation work. It wasn't dirty but wasn't very clean either.
Good location with a short walk to the town centre.
Hotel is run down. Room was tired, and noise from adjoining rooms and corridors was intrusive. I booked for dinner, but was told to "come back an hour later" as they were very busy (there were four people in the restaurant) so I ate elsewhere. It was not welcoming in any sense. I was glad to leave.
Reasonably priced. A nice seating area in the lobby. Friendly staff.
Unfortunately a lot of the staff were not proficient English speakers and messages sometimes got mixed especially if your meal request was slightly different from the menu. An unusual setup with a lot of little stairs and no access for people with even minor walking disabilities.
The food The location
Staff confusion Noisy staff 6.00 am onwards outside bedroom window (last night of stay)
staff & food, car parking.
the general condition of the hotel badly needs up date
WiFi good Biscuits with room tea making facilities Wall TV good size
Noisy floorboards. Cramped room. Weak shower Old furniture Standard 4' 6'' bed Not that warm
The food was very good, particularly the fruit salad at breakfast
My valance had blood stains on and I had to ask for it to be changed. The lights didn't work in the evening although the bathroom lights worked the following morning.
The meal deal offered to the national bowls championships guests was brilliant. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic too.
Good location good choice for breakfast rooms well serviced plenty of parking
Lovely quiet room , looked like it had been recently refurbished . Good choice at breakfast although would have been nicer plated up instead of help yourself . Near enough to visit Stratford & Warwick Castle . The park in town was worth a visit .
Looked a little tired from the outside . Took us 15 mins to walk into town .
The food was excellent we couldn't fault it, but a lack of English staff couldn't understand you.
We booked a double room and a twin room 6 weeks before our trip and when we got there we was told there were no double rooms left and had to have a twin and a single for 1 night so couldn't unpack and had to move the 2nd night. On day 2 we wanted a shower or bath before evening meal and there was no hot water so couldn't do this.
Was eventually given an accessible room Breakfast was good Staff were helpful
stairs and fire doors
Good location and evening meal very good. Breakfast good when cooked to order.
Cooked breakfast items were cold & not very appealing on one day.
Location and distance from Victoria park.
Very small room.
