The hotel is in a beautiful location and the historic building is very interesting to look around. Even though there was a wedding on the staff, they were as attentive and as helpful as ever. I liked Izabela because you could see that she was extremely busy rushing around, making sure everyone had what they needed but remained polite and level-headed with the clients. Her companion behind the bar with her was equally as efficient, polite, and hard working.

Thought the food not breakfast was mediocre
Eg my mushroom veggie burger had a very thin slice of cheese
So do my grand son
Medium quality
Break fast was good but rationed ie pastires would run out and staff state there are non
Then they appear much later
For four star hotel would expect tea and coffee service at break fast but it was self service and queues .
Room service person was not given tray for food and struggled with our order
He must of dropped some as some of our food was on the floor in the corridor
Plate
Of food was slipped over edge and piles so we knew the plate had gone arry
Again mediocre half a popadom ? Soft .
Bat was good with good selection of drinks and decent price
Staff worked hard and are under staffed hence struggling with tasks
Our room had no plug sockets by the bed so an extension had to be rigged up to use a air med machine. Cannot plug mobiles etc near to the bed
Nice room though and good cleaning service
Would stay there again but would have to be for less per night and would eat out

Great apartment in a very central location with a shop just downstairs of it. Charlie was a lovely host very helpful and answered all questions. The property was clean and spacious, stocked with everything needed even gas to use the bbq (as requested)! Will definitely be booking here again.

We loved how close the house was to the town but how quiet and tucked away it was.
Very clean and comfortable and great pool and gym.
Very clean and comfortable and great pool and gym. Good for parking -safer than many hotels I have stayed-very important.Lovely staff, food, facilities, room, ambience, but FREEZING temperatures in shared areas spoilt stay as like a lot of other guests we had to stay in our rooms to keep warm.

The staff were absolutely lovely..
The food was delicious and hot..
My only complaint was the over the bath shower.
As a disabled person.. it should have been wet room. Climbing into a bath was difficult and dangerous.. but the pressure of the shower was extremely powerful and enjoyable..the sunrise was beautiful

Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom.
Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Front desk assistance was very professional and the cleaning staff does an impeccable job. If you want a great snack or meal, skip the bar area. Perhaps try something nearby. It didn’t appear to have anywhere to eat within walking distance, but the town does have various dining options.

the hotel (champneys) was amazing ,
the hotel (champneys) was amazing ,
the outlet village was excellent , very clean , lots of choice , great restaurants for lunch , parking was cheap at £2.00 for every 4 hours .
never ventured into the city centre so can't comment on that .
The flat was very clean and sufficient with the basic needs should you choose to cook or stay indoors. The bed was so comfortable too!
The location was safe, quiet, and perfect as across the street is a convenience store, and Tesco is around 5-mins away by car. The flat was also conveniently located near the Ashford outlet, Canterbury, etc.
Graham was such a lovely and helpful host. He had been very clear with the instructions. Should we need to stay again in the area for a trip, we'll definitely book here again.
The little house has modern furnishings, 4 bedrooms that easily fit 6 adults and 2 bathrooms. The beds, while quite small and very soft, were actually comfortable. The location is on a quiet residential street, right next to a grocery store, a few minutes walk to the centre of Ashford and 15 minutes walk to the train station. We encountered issues during our stay and had to contact the property management who were responding very fast and sent a maintenance guy who was also very polite.
We loved the private quiet feel and view onto the small orchard. The hosts were very welcoming and on arrival we were greeted by beautiful flowers and a generous welcome pack, including their own home produced ice creams. Very well thought out and lovely decor - v comfy too. Access to the family's tennis court is also an added extra, with rackets and balls supplied on request. The location is great for exploring Kent. Thank you Sally and Robin!
A beautiful cottage in a great location in Ashford, just a couple minute drive to the designer outlet.
lovely comfortable beds, very clean throughout with all facilities provided I.e linen, towels, utensils. great instructions from the owner on how to find the property & gaining access with a good information pack inside the cottage explaining everything with useful information.
would definitely recommend & stay here again.
Beautifully restored listed property, and the owners have worked well to create a pleasant holiday home, with comfortable rooms, high ceilings and gorgeous beams.
Kitchen had more gadgets than you would normally find - ie air fryer/breadmaker/blender.
Location is great, close to town and main routes through Kent, but also set in beautiful countryside. Sadly didn’t get to use the tennis court or the bbq!
This property has everything! Large comfortable en-suite rooms, choice of breakfast …full or light, communal kitchen to microwave dinner if you want, lovely view of the Kent Downs, large outside lawn for playing, less than 30 mins to the beach!
We extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights and were happy we did.
Thanks Sue and Martin!
Very pleased with the hotel. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was very comfortable & completely adequate for what we needed. The breakfast was all fresh, plenty of choice and easy to access. The lounge/breakfast area was extremely clean. Even the toilets off the reception were immaculate.
Excellent breakfast. Debbie is very friendly and helpful. Exceptional room; very spacious, comfortable bed, newly upgraded ensuite shower room. Good view of the garden. Room was very quiet. Very good value. Excellent location with parking for spending time on Ashford or local area.
A really nice location situated in the Kent countryside. With a lovely bar, beer garden and period features of the hotel, visually pleasing. The staff were amazing, polite and accommodating. Room was clean with nice shower, sink and toilet, however…..
Very big house with 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, tv in each room, big kitchen with washimbg machine e and big garden. Perfect as base to visit beautiful kent if you have a car (space for two big cars). Good value only if you are in 3 plus.
Arrived late - the room rate was more expensive than the booking in your site. The bar staff was ignorant and unaccommodating, knew nothing about the hotel and the food was atrocious to the point we thought we might be ill from it
The staff at the Conningbrook went out of their way to make us (and our dog) feel welcome. the hotel itself is wonderful and cosy, extremely close to Ashford Intl station. restaurant vibe very warm, and nice food.
Wonderful retreat in a lovely part of Kent.
We arrived and automatically felt relaxed.
The hut as lots of lovely luxuries which make the stay even more special.
We would love to come back.
Very quiet comfortable room, excellent breakfast, nice big garden, easy parking, nice views of the Kent downs, friendly helpful staff, and a little bar in the evening
