All staff were really friendly including the locals in the bar. Our room was in the new annex and couldn't fault it, very clean, comfy and quiet. The bar area was very cosy with a great choice and a lot cheaper than down south. Evening meal was really nice with a good range to choose from. Breakfast was lovely and all cooked to order. All in all the Masons is a great place to stop over and will use again when in the area.

Staff were very welcoming. The bar had a warm and friendly feel with locals enjoying a quiet drink and chatting . The room was very small but I knew to expect that and instead of being cramped, it was actually really cosy with pretty view from window. Will definately have any friends coming to visit area book the Blue Bell !
