We loved the location in the middle of the countryside with beautiful walks from the doorstep (the bespoke map with circular walks of various levels from the inn was a lovely touch). The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully decorated with everything you could need. The food was exceptional (and we live in London) - much more than you would expect for a typical pub!

The general decor of the hotel was nice, I liked the way the bar and restaurant fed off the main lobby, It was great to have some books to read andspace to relax, It was a bank holiday and the pool and spa were too busy.

We stayed at the New Flying horse Inn, while walking the Pilgrims Way. Staff were so helpful, friendly and accomodating. Food was fantastic and great service. Breakfast was 5 star and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant/pub - i could not fault it - perfection
