The complementary drinks in compensation of inconvenience.
Recieving wrong information from staff. Bar not properly stocked. Was told to go to our rooms if we wanted to watch the football (Manchester United V Arsenal) on sky sports due to the rugby being on BBC1 in the bar and lounge areas even though sky sports was unavailable in our rooms. Was served the wrong food but when we notified the person who took our order and served us they told us that they didnt have the ultimate burger what we wanted so they gave us the standard burger that was cheaper but assured us that we were charged the correct price. One of the underwater pool lights fell out into the pool whilst we were in the pool.
Staff were great
Been there for our christmas party for the last 4 years. Food this year was awful and the wine/beer included in the meal was also poor. Collectively we have decided we probably wont return due to this. Also told by reception breakfast was until 10:30 and on arrival it had closed at 9:30. Staff though - very friendly and deserve much praise.
everything was excellent
no smart tv so it was boring nothing to watch. would of had to pay to watch a movie.
The breakfast was lovely!
There was banging in the morning That woke us up
Comfy beds, friendly check in staff. Nice room - quiet as requested. Value for money.
It was all good during our stay.
Everything, I am a repeat customer
Everything was good, the location, the parking, the restaurant, food and the rooms were very good. I would recommend to anyone.
Its a long confusing walk to some rooms and the corridors look shabby, like a cheap coat of white emulsion on everything that has gone dirty. But any concerns I had about the room were quickly dispelled on opening the door. The room quality was very good.
location and reception staff, speed of check in and out
shabby interior to rooms, sad bathroom soggy flatbreads and rock hard burger in restaurant and drink ordered first arrived after starter course, staff clueless
Spa,stay few time here,
Breakfast was very dispointed cold ,dry ham cheese.
The Hotel location was perfect for a break in travelling
That a hotel these days tries to charge extortionate amounts for WiFi is a disgrace. A coffee shop where I am only spending a relatively small amount provides this free.
The room was clean. The room was comfortable. The power of the shower was good. The towels were big enough.
The wifi was not free so we didn't use it. Bottles and plates were outside bedrooms on the floor in the corridor. There were no slippers provided.
Staff great and friendly
Waited too long for food service.breakfast was quite disorganised
Room service meal was expensive and disgusting.
Hotel was clean, friendly and had everything you'd expect to find.
Booking confirmation stated 'this room looks out over leafy grounds' but we were below car park level so looked out onto a row of exhaust pipes - disappointed as there was a lovely park outside the hotel.
The only problem I had with the hotel was that I couldn't eat in the resteraunt due to it being fully booked by people coming on coaches from other areas (ie not hotel guests). There were very few other places to eat in the area.
We booked an executive room, which was spacious, clean and a very comfy bed.The bathroom was on the small side.On arrival we paid £7.50 per head for breakfast on both mornings, this proved good value, although the main meals are pricey and a poor choice. Sizzling pub 1.5 miles down the road is a good shout. Used the fitness room whilst there,a small compact room, bit has a decent range of equipment and found the members friendly.
The evening bar meal was poor and overpriced. Don't agree with hotels charging for wi-fi.
Very short staffed ! Waited over an hour for food to be then presented with a lukewarm meal ! Says on website that there is live entertainment, a beauty parlour for massages etc and kids eat free , there is none of these ! Was looking forward to a lovely weekend away taking my children down to thomas land but this hotel put a downer on the weekend !
Nice comfy room, pleasant staff and nice facility's
Internet was terrible even for business customers with supreme suites
big parking place
old fashion, need restyling. My room was underground, very poor furniture, smell of cigarettes, I felt really not confortable. Price is absolutely to high for the service you get. restaurant need reservation.. even if you are a guest.
Good bed and good breakfast
Have to be a member for free wifi or pay for this service
Room we had was very tired and dated, very old style cramped bathroom. Booked a table at reception on arrival, but on getting to restaurant were told there was no booking and that we would have to wait in bar as they were short staffed even although plenty tables available.Ordered a portion of onion rings theses didn't arrive at table and had to be reordered.Ordered a brandy and ginger, got a glass of ginger ale only.Tried to get a brandy and ginger from bar but was told they had ran out of ginger ale.Seemed to be a total lack of staff training.Wont be staying there again.
Great breakfast Friendly staff Accessibility
Miles and miles of corridors Wifi did not work Hotel computer only work at certain times, so couldn't pay bill on evening before departure Strange smell coming from the health centre
Everything, I've become a regular guest
Room good, Young lady on reception when we checked out very friendly. Good value for money if you don't eat and drink here!
Price of the drinks and awful stern unfriendly mature female behind the Bar. £20 for 2 G and T's!!
