Sanctum Soho Hotel  

Good location, well appointed and well designed, good breakfast, comfortable room. Nice roof top terrace with good snacks.

Poor service in the roof top bar late in the evening. The staff paid us no attention (in contrast to those in the same bar earlier in the evening who were very helpful). They were unable to provide coffee because the machine was broken. They didn't offer to get it from the other bar.

This was absolutely the most comfortable bed either of us has ever slept in. Seriously, it was the greatest bed of all time. We loved the wet room shower! Very cool. Our room was very quiet, we didn't hear a peep the whole stay and we even slept with the windows open. The decor is fabulous as well. The downstairs bar was very comfortable but also very rock and roll.

We loved everything. It was exactly what we wanted.

The staff was outstandingly friendly and glady helped us with any problems we had. In the restaurant they did very well with my allergies and really checked if the food is save for me to eat (and they have gluten-free bread)!

The room was very small (especially considering the price!) and the shower in the bathroom was rather outdated (but very clean!).

The room was sumptuous, and was very pleasing to the eye. I enjoyed being in a location that suited my needs for the stay.

Unfortunately I did encounter a number of issues that were not resolved. Our choices on the menu were not in stock which were brought to our attention at the end of our starter. I also ordered room service at 10.30pm after multiple attempts someone answered but it was not delivered, I had waited but gave up and went to bed without! W also had to ensure a guest,a we were told sleeping on a chair outside our room on the night of our stay, who we could here snoring, when a complaint was made, we were told . 'not to worry, he would mean you no harm, he is a regular.' Which I took to mean that his stay is more important than ours, so our suffering was obviously not an issue. All the above was brought to staff attention in the mooring but a measly sorry was offered as compensation. I would like a response to these matters from the management of the sanctum SoHo, I am a regular visitor to London and indeed at this moment will not be returning to the hotel.

Great bar, awesome suite, great atmosphere and a superb well needed breakfast

We chose this Hotel due to the decor of the Junior suite and also for the location, as we were using the hotel as our wedding preparations & night. The Room was stunning and I was super pleased with it. Although there were a few bits of the room that I think could have been better (maintainence issues/decor damaged) as it is an expensive room rate and also for the 4 star. Room had a huge bath but no bath bubbles only shower gel :( The room was spacious, lots of gadgets and the bed was enormous and very soft! The hallway was decorated with photos of musical legends. Reception was warm in its welcome and nice smell & decor but the best thing about this hotel (apart from the boudiour style bedroom that i fell inlove with) was the Eccentric Scotsman on the door! What a great personality, couldnt do enough for us and in many areas went the extra mile for us. He gave the Hotel its personality and without him we feel it would have been another pretentious hotel.

We feel that our room was slighty overpriced.

Shower temperature in the morning could have been warmer

We recently stayed for a night over the jubilee weekend, booked last minute, got a killer rate on the room through booking.com, and there's obviously a reason the hotel has been awarded 2010 and then 2011 London design hotel of the year. The location was sensational, we dropped the hire car at the door with a credit card and concierge kept it metered out the front for us at a fraction of the cost of local car parks, staff were easy to talk with like your friends in a bar not you old weird uncle, room was great and the better half has decided she needs the same mattress for home. Do yourself a favor, book it.

Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable beds and good food

It is certainly not cheap, rooms are small but advertised a ssuch, only real issue is everything is somwhat pricey

Upon arrival, one of the lights in the room didn't work. The problem was immediately fixed at my first request within 5 min.

Breakfast is a bit pricey!

Perfect location for central London, just off Regent St close to Carnaby St. Great staff and nice modern "funky" room.

Small room which is typical of central London and that was with a free upgrade.

Great central location, very helpful and friendly, quirkie boutique style hotel. It was packed with footballers and had a rock n roll party atmosphere! Great for a weekend away and you want to let your hair down. I would recommend that if possible request a room on the lower floors as floor 4 has the roof top bar directly above and is 24hours! And if you can afford to upgrade to a suite it's well worth it as the crash pads are like shoe boxes! But other than that it's a great place to be!

la habitacion que me dieron fue muy chica Y no andaba la calefaccion, Y tuve que dormir con una estufa. muy malas ventanas, por ahi entraba aire frio. el control de la tv no andaba desde la cama. me tenia que acerca A la tv para que funcione. el ascensor es viejo Y tardaba mucho en venir, Y es un hotel con solo 4 pisos.

La posizione

La camera standard e piccolissima senza armadio .il bagno non si puo chiamare bagno e anche su richiesta non ci hanno dato il bollitore per il te, e questa e' una cosa molto grave a Londra!

allt var jätte bra, trevlig personal, bra utbud av shopping o mat o pubar allt vad vi sökte.

Har bodd på hotellet tidligere, liker godt beliggenheten. Synes rommet vi hadde denne gang hadde fortjent en tepperens. Om der skal være tepper på rommene bør de være rene og uten store flekker !

Die Lage ist perfekt! Viele gute Geschäfte, Restaurants und Bars. Die Einrichtung dieses Hotels ist sehr speziell, wir fanden es toll. Große alte ledersofa's in Bar und Restaurant, tolle Bilder an den Wände ( Jimi hendrikx, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan) schöne alte Holztreppen, schwarzes Himmelbett und Spiegel, sehr schönes Badezimmer. Immer wieder

Der Service im Restaurant und Bar ist etwas unkonzentriert und träge, aber sehr freundlich

Las habitaciones 108,208,308 son absolutamente ridiculas de espacio, hasta la televisión esta en el lateral de la pared pegada a la cama porque no hay espacio, por no tener no tiene ni armario para colgar la ropa y el baño mejor no comentarle. No sé como se atreven a vender este tipo de habitaciones.
