Perfect location for central London, just off Regent St close to Carnaby St. Great staff and nice modern "funky" room. Small room which is typical of central London and that was with a free upgrade.

Great central location, very helpful and friendly, quirkie boutique style hotel. It was packed with footballers and had a rock n roll party atmosphere! Great for a weekend away and you want to let your hair down. I would recommend that if possible request a room on the lower floors as floor 4 has the roof top bar directly above and is 24hours! And if you can afford to upgrade to a suite it's well worth it as the crash pads are like shoe boxes! But other than that it's a great place to be!

The second room we got was better - more storage facilities. The room was quiet and good air conditioning/heating system. Location great - just around corner from Regent Street, a bar and restaurant next door and easy walking distance to most venues we were visiting. We had heard that during busy months, Hotel can be noisy as the rooftop bar has parties but we didn't experience that. 1st room offered was totally unacceptable - the concerige said was known as a "crash pad" which is exactly what it was - no storage at all - no wardrobe, drawers, safe, and an open wet room in the bathroom. Quite how they could justify this for £200 per night beggars belief! On complaining we had to negotiate for a bigger room but pay £100 extra per night (including breakfast). The breakfast was limited to £14.50 and was average. Would not stay again - overpriced and average. Staff were indifferent this could be due to culture though as only 1 person we met was from UK.

My request for an upgrade was met. The porter was very friendly and fun. The roof top bar is too smoky and full of rude people and idiots.

Really helpful friendly staff, luxury accomodation without feeling pompous....we will be going back. Quite noisy as our room was at the front of the hotel.....should have packed our earplugs. Service charges on every purchase in the bar,I would have liked the choice whether to tip.

A real surprise find as it's tucked away just off Regents St. The hotel is fitted out to a very high standard in a sort of 'boutique' style. The room was small but exceptionally well appointed, high quality furniture, glorious bed and linen and really arty decor, including a fancy 'padding' on the door and textured walls! Bathroom was really great with a walk in shower and super luxury robe - I resisted 'borrowing' it! Good complimentary shampoo etc. Staff were low key but attentive and professional. While I was out for the evening my bed was turned down - nice. Location is really good for centre of London, Regents St, Piccadilly, West End etc. The area is obviously 'colourful' as it is very close to Soho, but that added to the 'Santuary' feel of the hotel. I didn't get the chance to try any food at the hotel, but as I was leaving I could see the bar looked like a great place to be and I have no doubt the food should be the same quality as the rest of the hotel. It was pricey at £216, but given that I booked a few days before I needed the room, and in December when office partied fill all the hotels, then the price was acceptable. Other 'standard' hotel like Regents Park Holiday Inn were fully booked, and Grafton was over £400! For a romantic couples, the hotel it is really ideal and I would recommend it for a bit of luxury and very unique style.

The room was great, the breakfast restaurant was great, the location was perfect for west end and shopping. We were attarcted by the roof terrace bar and were also reccomended by reception to visit it. We went to the bar later in the evening to be told that the place was reserved and we should leave. This rally annoyed us . We didn't expect after spending £450 for one night suite to be rejected from using the only bar at the facility so would expect compensation for such a restriction. This makes us not want to reccomend or re use the hotel

The Sanctum Soho was extremely well presented, at every corner was original art work and fantastic furniture. The room was superb, with attention to every little detail. The staff were fantastic and a special mention has to go to the Concierge, whose sense of humour and willingness to go the extra mile is unparalleled.

The room was fabulous, beautiful modern and sexy design. We got the one with the tub in the room... Very nice. Marty (doorman/concierge/soul of the hotel) was awesome, he pointed out the best restaurants, where to visit, etc. Definitely made our stay perfect. Would go back in a beat. A bit overpriced may be? On the other hand, London is a very expensive city...

Loved the attitude of the staff, it seemed friendly and laid-back. Loved the rooftop bar, accidentally stayed up there till 4am resulting in major hangover! I also like the location and decor in the communal area's. The ren toiletries were also good. There was a weird noise coming out of the air-con which kept me awake. The room was tiny though it is central London..

Receptionist. Roof Bar Other guests ! Fire alarms set off by guests at 3.30 am. Bar staff had given the guests too much alchohol. I think I would have apologised if I was the Hotel Manager. Bar staff were uninterested in serving. They had difficulty smiling.

Nothing if I'm totally honest - The room was nice but the service totally ruined the whole experience for me - They got my booking wrong when i first checked in - had me down for 2 nights - Needed a card for pre auth which is fair enough, everyone does this but needed a pin for my credit card which i've never had before. No money gets taken on a pre auth so they usually just take details of card. I don't know the pin for my credit card so I gave them my debit card instead. I asked about 5 times if definitely no money would come out of it and each time i was assured no. I checked my balance later that day and they had taken £350!!! What if that was the last £350 to my name and i couldn't then pay for dinner that night?? - My booking included breakfast so we went down the next morning and was totally embarrassed to be told breakfast wasn't included so if we weren't prepared to pay for it we had to get out of the restaurant!! I then had to go back up to my room and bring down the booking form which showed breakfast was included (if i hadn't have printed that I'd have been stuffed!) and then they reluctantly agreed to let me have 'free' breakfast. - Went to check out and they had charged me for breakfast after all so then had to amend the bill!!

I loved the decor of the room, the huge bed was like falling into a pillow! And the amazing power-shower deserves a mention! The staff were fantastic also. The hot tub was out of action which was a bit of a shame!
