Room was very small
Location was perfect for what we wanted to do, theatre and Sunday boat cruise. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was beautifully presented and staff were keen to help and please.
Despite ear plugs our room was noisy. Traffic and plumbing affected my sleep! We struggled to find a convenient plug socket for the kettle.
Great Location Easily Accessible 24 Hour Reception Friendly Staff Very Clean
Given the location, its understandable that the rooms tend to be quite small, but ample enough to move round
The room was ridiculously small and very crowded. Toilet was week at flushing.
Very close to theatres and restaurants. Lovely comfortable beds. Very quiet in room.
The hotel was very convenient to the Prince Edward Theatre
We was at front of building room 203 might as well slept on road it was that noisy then to be woken at 6 45 by next doors early morning wake up call not once but three times. Shower leaked everywhere!! For paying £451 it was a very bad experience. When we told receptionist her reply was we are going to a 5star next year and getting triple glazing
the bath room was not good at all little water very small bath room not worth the money
It's near to everything and any place is really easy to reach. Near to 2 subway lines. Complimentary bottle of water when you arrive, cookies in the room for every morning. Good mattress, clean room. Nice that you have on a desk almost all kind of plugs, english, american, italian.
Maybe the bathroom was a rather basic and needed some little maintenance.
Location was perfect and 1st floor, street side room had no noise problem whatsoever.
Basement buffet restaurant is a little enclosed but well lit and very nice.
Great position for Soho and the theatres, the breakfast staff were brilliant and cooked poached eggs just for me.
City centre streets are noisy places even at night, so there is some noise at night that you can hear but it's not too bad
My room was on the 2nd floor and right on Shaftsbury Avenue. I was continuously woken up during the night by traffic, sirens and people
Location is excellent just on the edge of Leicester Square.
The room was barely bi enough to pick up a cat let alone swing it. To get around the bed meant a sideways shuffle and the wardrobe door could not be opened fully as it hit the end of the bed. A premier room? I don't think so!
1:Twice my breakfast was forgotten ,and when they did bring it the tray was to big for the table. 2: also was unable to open window
The location was great and the staff were lovely. Especially the doorman who helped with bags and taxis etc.. Very helpful..breakfast was great to.
We booked a triple luxury room so pd more, but found the 3rd bed a little squeezed in. With not a lot of room to walk around. Chairs couldn't be used as there wasnt the room. The bed had wear and tear around the edges to.. The decor was lovely and clean so stil was comfortable. But for the price did expect bigger room.
Fantastic, helpful staff and a luxurious room. Ideally situated for a trip to the West End.
It was quite noisy from the road outside so our sleep was disturbed. Very limited gluten-free options for breakfast.
The welcome was excellent, but the booking in was tedious
Unfortunately not a good experience at this hotel. When ringing the day before to confirm reservation was paid in full was told yes. Guests on arrival were told no and made to wait 20 mins + before even being allowed to room, despite prior confirmation. Not very impressed with both the service received nor the mixed messages/information relayed.
The room was very .. VERY small, but I honestly didn't care as I didn't spend much time there anyway, save for sleep. And I slept very well. Comfortable beds and very low noise to be in this part of London. The room was very nicely decorated.
Location, friendly, comfort, quality!
I had a call by the accounts team pretending the room was under maintenence so they wanted me to change hotel. I called the hotel and this was a lie so I refused to be moved. I should have, the room was the size of a closet. Poorly decorated and a shower that is can only be used by a 6 stone person. Awful hotel room and the worst I have stayed in.
fantastic central location friendly staff great breakfast
room was small, booked a special, and was expecting space for a case
Attitude of Concierge No Bar facilities drinks were served in the breakfast room until 9pm. We had friends who had come to meet us but we were all asked to drink up and leave the room as they needed to close. Room very small, en-Suite tiny and what looked like water damage or mould around the base of the shower tray. Room faced Shaftesbury Ave so was very noisy, but they supplied ear plugs in the desk draw, NOT VERY GOOD IF THERE WAS A FIRE???
(Carried forward from What didn't you like.) the next morning they put us in their best room. All breakfasts were free. Put a nice bottle of wine, cheese and crackers and a fruit bowel in our room. The staff were amazing and tried their best to make us happy.
We booked this hotel because it was right in the middle of what we wanted to see and do. They sent us to another hotel a taxi ride away out near Hyde Park. They gave us taxi service free to any where. To make the problem worse they didn't have room for us so we got put in a room across the street from the supposed 5 Star Hotel. The room was in the basement with a window that looked out into an alley and if we looked up we could see the street 1 floor up. The room smelled so bad that they had an air freshener going full blast. After complaining later that night to the Best Western they come back in the morning (go to What did you like)
