We arrived at House Belfast not knowing what to expect. It was electric absolutely on fire. Lovely place, rooms a bit dark (a paint job of a lighter colour would be nice) we went to our room and left the case in and went down to get a bite to eat and had a few drinks, very pleasant, stayed for a while then went to Botanic Gardens to see Van Morrison, great show and such a direct walk of 4 minutes to it - everything just was nice and calm no stress - and got up the next day to the most wonderful breakfast ever. I have stayed in the most luxurious hotels and this was the best absolutely so so nice - thank you House Belfast and especially the chef and staff, very pleasant.

I was there for business. I visited the Ulster museum which was very interesting and worth a visit. The Botanical gardens are nice but not very scientifically interesting and the palm house needs sorting out. I have been to the Titanic museum before and found it intersting, although the arcade style surrounds are not pleasant. I did not visit any other attractions.

A really lively city; quite easy to find one's way around to go from where I was staying (St. Anne's). Excellent cultural attractions and sights to see; really good choice of restaurants pubs and clubs. It's generally safe to walk around on your own at day or night but don't take any chances.
Take the glider bus from the city hall or the train from Botanic (no longer calls at Great Victoria) will bring you out of the city to go to the west to Lisburn. Or east; for example Cultra - for the Folk & Transport museums. Or Bangor.

Recollection of Belfast growing up in the 70s and 80s in the uk was not somewhere that I would want to visit
I’m so glad I reconsidered. Friendly people, safe and vibrant city with so much more going on than I’d imagined from local history to international art collections.
Used the city sightseeing bus to get around over the two days we stayed, helped us figure out how to get around
Will definitely recommend to others

The overall feel is that the city is in decline with a lot of vacant buildings. That said it felt safe with lots of great places to visit. It's a city with great architecture and I am rooting for it to do well. Clearly a lot of money has been spent here and has wealth, but currently feels like the economy is in a downturn (Brexit maybe?).

I liked Belfast and had been there previously.
I liked Belfast and had been there previously. Good access to day trips and attractions like Carrickfergus Castle and Hillsborough town and castle. Whites Tavern is awesome. Belfast City Hall is stunning and has great exhibits.
Location of hotel was very convenient to city centre.
The bus station across the street has an indoor mall with a few excellent cafes with very reasonable prices.
The ability to have a late check out was very helpful.Usually a late check out is noon but we were offered a 2pm checkout time.We have never experienced that before in any other hotel we stayed at.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
When we had a mix up with type of room provided, problem was corrected immediately and complimentary drinks were offered as a courtesy.
Arrived early to drop off our bags but Martin at reception was brilliant and able to check us in early. That's where our amazing stay started. The room was really comfortable, no frills but perfect nonetheless and exceptionally clean. It's a busy hotel right next to the city centre which is a fair walk so be prepared. Next morning's breakfast is easily one of the best we've had at a hotel. Highly recommended.
The interior of the apartment was almost same in the picture and it was really good experience. It brought a nice mood for my trip to Belfast. And the furniture in the apartment is also perfect, just like in my own house. The location is close to the city centre, and the price is cheaper than the same location of the hotel! ! The hosts are also very nice!!
I had such a great night's sleep, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The vegetarian breakfast was lovely with plenty of variety. Given the price for the night I had low expectations but the hotel was the standard of any 4* hotel in Ireland. We would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be back.
Breakfast was plentyfull something for everyone's tastes and needs
We had a power cut during service fortunately it was near the end of breakfast staff remained calm and helpful and no one seemed fazed by it. Hotel is in a great location 2minutes from the bus station and central to all amenities and city centre.
Charming hotel in a fun neighborhood. It was a 20-minute walk to the city centre which was perfect for walking off the wonderful Irish breakfast. Everywhere else was a quick uber ride. The staff was so kind and helpful and the room was a great size. Would highly recommend!
The hotel is in an amazing location, close to the city centre and only 15 min away from the city airport and 25 min walk from the University. Staff was incredible friendly and helpful. The hotel decoration is super nice and the place is very clean. Great value for money.
The room is lovely and extremely clean. The staff is super welcoming and was always available to answer any question we had. The location is quiet and it’s a nice walk to the city centre, plus very close to the station and the general market, which was a big plus for us.
The room was lovely, very nice and comfortable.
If you book direct you get a welcome drink upon arrival and free breakfast.
Hotel is about 10 min drive into Belfast City centre was around £9 in a taxi to City Hall.
Water and crisp in the room, Lovely touch
This hotel is the best in Belfast. The location is great for me as I enjoy the walk into the city centre. I also love the historic element to this hotel, it is full of artefacts, drawings and designs relating to its previous life which I find fascinating
Hotel location was fantastic and only 30 min taxi from airport. Conveniently located in city centre.
Hotel was nice and had a good feel about it. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had an upgraded room with a comfortable bed. Loads of space.
The location of the hotel was just perfect with a walking distance to the city centre and all other pubs and restaurants. There is also an off street parking at a cheaper price right outside the hotel which makes it very convenient.
Everything was great at the hotel. Really warm welcome and the room and breakfast were great.
Was at an event in the Arena so location was perfect and at the same time it was handy for the city centre.
This was the best hotel we stayed at during our tour of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The rooms were beautiful and the air conditioning worked very well. I would love to return for a longer stay.
Lovely hotel close to city centre. Good food in bar and clean comfortable rooms. Staff at reception were so friendly and accommodating. Great eco initiative on offer for room servicing.
