The room is typical of this sort of hotel but it was clean. Breakfast was amazing with cereal, full cooked breakfast, plates of fruit, cakes and everything associated. It was quite amazing and the price was excellent.
Where do i start!! Staff serving breakfast, no hair nets or uniform...own clothes, hence why 3 of us found "hairs" in our breakfast...shoddy breakfast. Only way to make room feel comfy was to be out of it most of the 1 night we stayed! ! Never again would lower standards to this! This is in desperate need of a inspection!!
Sympathetic host, John and his family, all other staff. Location, authentic home, feeling of tradition.
Small and unclean room, heating system very poor, air passing through the (closed) window...
Its a long time since we stayed in a hotel of this kind. Friendly family run hotel. Breakfast was ok & edible but obviously done on a budget. Room was clean with very comfy beds. It was a quiet hotel with no sleep disturbance. We were satisfied for what we paid for our stay.
We did feel that a refurb of the dining area was needed.Nothing matched and the crockery was a mishmatch from a car boot. We had no sink plug & had to use toilet roll as a plug. A triple central light had only 1 lightbulb working.
- the candour with which the manager/owner tries to talk you into believeing you are staying in a hotel - the hotels next door at just 10GBP more that St. Simeon
Well, even if I was offered a room for free, the central location close to Earls Court is not worth it. Just a few things: - This is not a hotel, but a "private hotel"!! - Sheets are not always changed between guests. The sheets on my bed had sperm stains on them and seemed to have been in use by more than one guest - Dirty laundry carried/dragged through kitchen in the basement - Eat your breakfast in the basement sitting on the lap of other guests. Very crowded. Breakfast not attractive. - Food and cutlery which fell onto the (dirty) floor was put back on the table by personnel for guests - Walls made of paper. Be prepared for close up communal snoring, arguing, acoustic sex etc - Yes, lots of fruit on offer, but the standard is questionable, best before? - At regular intervals the entire hotel is impregnated with the stench of offal being prepared in the downstairs kitchen - Wifi ONLY on the mezzanine "altar chairs" - No night porter, BUT main entrance remains open through the night. Not safe. - and so on.
Warm welcome from previous owner now passed down to sons. A Polish ran family business. My money was refunded promptly without fuss
Pretty much everything The room was sparce, drafty and inadequate curtain covering the windows. Tiles around the shower area weren't finished properly so sharp and a risk of grazing bare feet, which I did. Hairdryer needed to be collected from reception. No toiletries or tea making facilities, had to go to basement kitchen area to make a drink. The kitchen needs a complete clean and currently a health hazard I didn't eat anything there. I was booked for 3 nights, I was moved to a slightly better room but left the next morning. Had to pay a higher late premium to book another hotel nearby.
The hotel was spotless, the staff were excellent couldn't do more for us,you won't find a better hotel for the money you are paying,if you want the ritz then pay the ritz prices, this hotel is cheap, but you won't get better for your money
A good hotel in a fantastic location, with easy access to central London. Would definitely recommend and would look to stay at for future visits
The hotel needs cleaning and refurbishment.

Near natural history museum, walked there sun early morning
No drink making facilities in the room
Convenient location and good value for what we wanted. An ideal hotel for someone on a budget.
Very small accommodation and noisy overnight due to constant traffic and no double glazing.
staff and reception
Don't book family room 3 next to 'breakfast' room staff start talking and singing and making a so called breakfast before 6 in the morning. Arrived a 7pm, stood in reception for ages and had to phone the Hotel to say we are here and the girl seemed to be a little put out!
Rooms, Location Staff FREE Breakfast Great Value
Breakfast- The bacon was horrible
Great breakfast and helpful staff. Good location, 10-minute walk from tube station. drinks and fruits in the kitchen.
Small room and wifi doesn't work.
friendly staff pleasant atmosphere
possible to get room without bath could hear evrything happening in other rooms no secure space for valuable items
This is positively thee best location in London to stay. It oozes class, Bentleys and Maseratis by the barrel load. It is right next to the Albert Hall and some of the best museums in the world. But for me it is the buzz about the place that really appeals. Living amongst the Kensington millionaires well makes you feel like one albeit for a few short days.Staying here is an experience, irrespective of the hotel.
The hotel itself is more like a hostel, but you're rubbing shoulders with stockbrokers and general toff, so just make the most of it. The staff are brand new btw!!
According our booking we thought we don't have breakfast. Our surprise we had it and it was great. Big variety, nice service, great food.
There wasn't wifi in the room and there wasn't print service (for flight check in) at the reception.
great location in a very nice neighbourhood and close to the tube station, friendly staff. we had a bathroom in the room and english brekfast included in the price (which wasn't at all high). there was no hair drier in the room, but you can ask it at the reception.
it's cold at night - ask for an additional blanket straight away
Great hotel,everyone was amazingly friendly!
Nothing for me everything was really good
The smell of food The grimey, grey bedding and towels The totally inadequate shower
Room was covered in mould and was generally unclean. We did not sleep in the beds as these too were unclean. We booked for 4 nights and only stayed 1 night!
