Nice and friendly personnel, all-day opportunity to take advantage of the kitchen, plenty of fruits, close to the underground station

The hotel is in general old-fashioned and a bit filthy, slow wi-fi in the rooms, relatively small canteen

Location is perfect but that doesnt mean that I recommend you to stay here.

The room wasnt clean and it wasnt really like a triple room. We couldnt even open our suitcases at the same time. Although I booked this room 3months prior to our arrival and requested a large room upstairs, they didnt look like they cared and gave us the smsllest triple room downstairs...

The internal condition was in poor condition and the rooms (I had a single and a double) were very cramped, no wifi in the rooms or tea and coffee. I was pushed for time and location so was limited on what was available, but I would definitely pay a little more and go for a better proper hotel and not a b & b.

St Simeon was situated at the right spot .You have access for everything from transport, tube . etc. For the fact that my family sleep together makes it excellent. My children was very comfortable and it was a great value. Thanks for the management and staff. We will come back again.

There is no sign to locate the building as it look us long time to locate it. would be good idea to place sign post for the new comers.

The staff was awesome and the breakfast was amazing.

It was very loud. The street noise made it hard to sleep, and our balcony was easily accessed from other apartments so we couldn't feel secure leaving the balcony windows open which made it stuffy inside the rooms at night. There was no airflow with the windows closed, but the balcony stretched the length of several buildings and you could literally walk down the entire block going from balcony to balcony with just about a 2 foot railing to separate them. I have stayed at other places in London and know that one must be willing to deal with some noise, and that buildings are old, so expecting perfect quiet would be ridiculous, but there was constant traffic going by our room all night. I would find a more residential setting next time.

    Good wifi

No aircon/fans in room. Poor ventilation in bathroom. No shower.

The warm welcome and friendliness were priceless, accompanied by the curiously comforting feeling of being in a family home rather than in a hotel/business.

The heat (general poor natural ventilation of the building), and absence of any air conditioning or fan system was very hard to sleep through, considering how hot London was in these days.

    Central location.

Shower and room facilities poor. Curtains too short and did not block out light, shower pressure poor, room clean but very cramped.

The rooms are basic However you will be hard pressed to find cheaper overnight accommodation in such a good location

Even though the hotel is cheap for London £175 for a tiny triple room seemed a lot

Hotel is near to Gloucester Road tube station with access to Circle, District and Piccadilly line. Near the tube station there is Tesco, KFC and Burger King as well as other restaurants. Kensington is quiet residential area with small private parks.

Hotel is old and it seems that last renovation was long time ago. Carpets on the floor and walls were dirty and roof of the bathroom was spotted with mold. There was no shampoo nor soap in bathroom. There wasn't ventilation or air conditioning. Hotel is definitely not worth of £200 / night. There is plenty of other hotels in that area to try on.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful with a great selection of fruit.

Our room was extremely small with the bed against the wall so it was difficult getting in and out. There was a lot food for breakfast but the bacon was horrid and the eggs were greasy, with a strange selection of breads.

Friendly staff, close to tube station. Good value for the money.

A bit grubby room with no air conditioning, old stained towels and sheets, no internet access above the second floor.

Charming and beautiful area--location very good. I travel internationally lots and prefer boutique hotels when I can find good ones.

Hotel has potential to be top notch, but deferred maintenance makes interior a bit shabby. Ceiling fans could help unairconditioned rooms. Soap and shampoo would be nice to have w/I having to ask.

Second time staying at the hotel. Great service, room was available even though I was checking in a little early. Room is very basic, but does the job. Excellent location, near Gloucester Road tube station.

    No WiFi

Great location (near museums, tesco supermarket, and a tube station), Full English breakfast included, provides fruits all day without additional charge. Very nice and helpful staff. We like it a lot.

The room is small and not very clean. The shower has too weak stream so taking a shower become difficult.
