The food was immaculate
Cannot fault any part of the stay, room was beautiful and the food and drinks were superb, all the staff were friendly and helpful.., Will definitely rebook M.Passey
Friendly and welcoming staff with log fire and fresh milk for the room. Excellent ales and a small but lovely menu. A proper pub in a quiet but accessible location. Comfy beds and good decor. Excellent value.
That we had to leave.....
Excellent beer and food. Great bar full of character. And beautiful isolation.
Failure to clean room or change towels for second night. Not the room I asked for
After a very difficult day we arrived to a warm welcome, an upgraded room, drinks before dinner by the open fire and a superb meal. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. Luxurious in every detail, unpretentious, we shall return. I felt completely restored and renewed by the time we checked out.
Bed was very comfy, as was the room overall.
Full English looked very good but I'd opted for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. I must've been given the whole packet of smoked salmon, there was a mountain of it and modest amount of scrambled eggs. The toast with it was good though and less over facing. Shower was not the best but adequate.

The ambience, the people, the food ... it's something out of the ordinary. Oh, and the photos and John Illsley's artworks. The quiet, tucked-away location so close to tourist traps is fantastic.
Friendly professional staff. Cosy pub with very good restaurant. Lovely rooms with comfortable bedding.
Located heart of new forest Nice decor, lovely rooms
2single mattresses not a double Bar is small but restaurant large
Friendly but totally professional. Gorgeous food and breakfast, a wonderful find.
We stayed here overnight for our wedding anniversary and were very pleased with our choice. The pub was in an excellent location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and we would happily recommend the pub to others. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. If we were to make a suggestion (more from a positive view than negative) it would be to maybe place some tiles or splash back behind the tea and coffee shelf as there were marks on the wall from people making beverages in the room and maybe a dressing table for the ladies as they like to have somewhere to sit with a mirror when getting ready but as we said these are only things we thought about as we were staying in the room. Overall a pleasure and we would love to return.
There was nothing we could think of that was wrong with the East End Arms.
Great quiet location, although on a road.Friendly efficient staff. Well decorated ,clean rooms.Good breakfast.Small well kept courtyard garden.
mainly the location. food was good. staff were friendly.
i think breakfast could have been served a bit earlier, perhaps starting at 8am instead of 9am.
Myself and my Fiancée had a birthday meal while staying here and our meal was fantastic. I had the Beef Cappaccio and Calves Liver for Mains and both were superb. The sauce for the Liver was rich but just enough and not too over bearing! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and efficient. The food was freshly prepared and of good quality both at dinner and breakfast. The beer was excellent and varied - three Ringwood beers and a guest. The location is very rural and quiet and was very convenient for visiting local attractions (Beaulieu etc) and the IOW ferry from Lymington.
The only minor criticism I have and this is really a point of information for other guests is that breakfast does not start until 9 am - this was NOT a problem for us but might be a problem for other future guests if they want to get out and about early.
Friendly staff, quality accommodation & lovely food.
All the facilities exceeded my expectations for this small hotel in the outskirts and have no reservations in recommending it to others and will. Book there again it the future.
Comfortable bedroom with bath and shower. Staff helpful. Good choice of food and service in the restaurant
Generator outside our room was a bit noisy and also made the room over-hot
The staff, Jenny and Gareth, very helpful, lovely people. Loved the comfortable, large bed and the excellent shower. The décor is very pleasant, enjoyed the furnishings. Has a great atmosphere, the best of country accommodation and meals.
Very clean and well equipped rooms. Public areas had a nice ambiance. Food was competitive on price and good quality. All the staff were interested in good and friendly service.
Nothing really. It's a matter of opinion whether breakfast not starting until 0900 is an issue for you.
