Relaxing atmosphere friendly and helpful staff good food
Wi fi limited area
Great staff very welcoming
My only feedback is the soundproofing between the bedrooms was disappointing and after sampling the fine ales the steps out of the bathroom in the middle of the night proved tricky.
Quiet location, food excellent staff very pleasant and helpful. Clean and tidy in all areas. Good value for money
Location & Staff & Food was very good
Cosy open fire. A lot of variety on the menu. Our meals were delicious and very generous portions :-)
Friendly staff, good food and excellent breakfast
Lovely food and friendly staff and really comfy bed
Friendly staff with good food- excellent breakfast
The room was spacious and comfortable. The food in the bar and the breakfast was just wonderful! The bar had a nice atmosphere with a roaring fire. Was a lovely quiet location, but still provided quick access to lots of local amenities. I would stay here again.
The room was a bit cold, which is why I spent my time in the bar(!) ... I think the room could probably do with some secondary glazing on the windows to keep the heat loss and the road noise to a minimum.
The enviroment was quite and peaceful, the room was clean and bed very comfortable. there was ample space to move about even though i had the two kids with me. the staff were accomodating and flexible given that i had the children who thourghly enjoyed them selves and would definately come back again
i cant give any points for improvement has we had a very positive experience

That we could only stay for one night!
Staff friendliness and helpfulness. The food that was on offer.
The bed was lumpy and needed new mattress. No food on Sunday night without going out to next village.
Lovely friendly staff. Very welcoming.... We really enjoyed our overnight stay... Delicious well cooked food at reasonable prices... Breakfast was delicious , fresh and hot! Very good value.
we only stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed longer
Attentiveness of staff. Nothing too much trouble. Great breakfast and evening meal excellent.
We stayed six nights. Our room was simple, but comfortable, and excellent value. The breakfast (included) was hearty and well cooked. We ate in the restaurant most evenings, and enjoyed all our meals. Service was friendly and efficient.
The car park is situated on a blind corner, and needs care to exit!
Location, potential charm, quiet
Tired, in need of refurbished, broken lights, shower door that didn't open without brute force
The staff were welcoming, and the room was adequate, superb beer, the menu and the food were excellent - both breakfast and dinner. Would stay there again.
