Location is great, pick up and drop off service to airport is wonderful. Staff was great, room was very clean. Didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant.

Such a peaceful stay prior to a trip away. Even though there was a small function ongoing it did not affect our stay

Private rooms fairly nice and staff were super helpful, breakfast was really good too!
Lovely comfortable room with all facilities but the TV...
Lovely comfortable room with all facilities but the TV wasn't working properly as it needed a code, the bed was very low for me to get out of quickly (I'm old,) Noise from someone coughing was preventing a good nights sleep.
Was going on an early flight from Gatwick and though Breakfast was available it would be much too late but could have offered a takeaway but didn't. All other facilities were on offer and all at a reasonable price. for its location..
Why is parking not free or added in the price of the stay especially when there is public parking 200 yds down the road?

Pleasant little town with a good range of restaurants and pubs so we had a range of options for dinner. We were only there for an early morning flight from Gatwick so didn't spend time exploring - although it did look as though there would be good walks in the surrounding countryside. We ate at the Wetherspoons a that is an inexpensive option; the staff were very friendly and the ambience was good.
Would certainly choose to stay in Horley again if we needed a night's accommodation before a morning flight from Gatwick.

Many people stay in the area because its so close to Gatwick airport. When you are there, make sure to check out Ye Olde Six Bells. Its a great restaurant that was built in the 1400's as part of a monastery.

The Wetherspoon pub was in the centre of town a 20 min walk from my accommodation which was at the middle distance between the town and the airport. People appeared friendly but as a transient resident I got ripped off by the locals. The tapas restaurant was open for customers but the cider was so sweet I could not drink it and I was told it was Spanish which I frankly doubt as I was not shown any label and the drink was pored for me without my getting to see it. I'll avoid the tapas bar the next time I need to visit the city prior to going on holiday or when I need to stay overnight on my return from holiday.

There was a great pub called 6 bells.
There was a great pub called 6 bells. The staff were lovely and Wayne the proprietor really looked after me as did all the staff. The food I had was excellent. The pub itself is unofficially the 2nd oldest pub in England. It was easy to walk to from The Corner House.

Very comfortable rooms, friendly efficient staff, good choice of restaurants in the evening with lovely food. Breakfast could improve as while everything is well laid out with plenty of choice the food is not being kept hot enough and is quite cold by the time you take it back to your table which is a shame as it’s good quality food. It was the same for both visits.
I chose this hotel since I landed in Gatwick around 01:30 and planned to leave the area in the morning after, so a hotel in the airport was the most reasonable solution. For some reason I didn't expect a half-capsule hotel - it's not the capsules that remind you a sarcophagus, but it's the type of room that you should move slowly otherwise you bump into something. The room was clean, I liked the purple light and all in all it answered my need and was a good solution.
Coming from the Gatwick rail station and to the north terminal, this was all under roof directions given by the hotel to head to easy jet baggage drop off the hotel sign was easy to see. You then walked straight through to reception. The whole experience was 5star staff room very high quality Amsterdam experience..pleasent dinning area, early breakfast buffet verygood from 4am continental hot breakfast from 5 30. Will return most definitely. L
Very close to Gatwick airport. TBH no other reason to use this hotel - if you were visiting towns/places in the area I'd suggest there are nicer locations.
I was pleasantly surprised at the range and quality of food and drink in the restaurant - better than normal budget hotel fare. The shuttle bus from the airport terminal is efficient and not too expensive (£7 return, Jan 2023)
Perfect pre-flight hotel - a short walk to Departures at Gatwick.
A lot roomier and well fitted than I was expecting for the price.
Much better value and far more pleasant than the other more established airport hotels.
Easy to pick up food or snacks in the main part of the airport during the evening before an early morning flight.
Will definitely stay there again.
Location was ideal for Gatwick Airport and no more than a mile from Horley Railway station. Shops and restaurants in the nearby town centre (Lidl/ Morrisons/ Waitrose/ Wetherspoons/ Post office/ Nationwide building society etc). Car park partially enclosed. Buses covering that areas as far as Brighton in the south, Gatwick Airport, Sussex/ Surrey borders.
I thought the entire room was well designed for exactly what was needed. The bathroom was well designed and had good water pressure. The location of the hotel was perfect for my late night arrival and early morning departure from Gatwick. The room was quiet, and I was not affected by any neighbor noise while trying to relax and sleep between my flights.
Loved the location of this hotel as so good to get off flight and needing to wait for another flight , don’t need to leave airport area. Lovely and modern hotel with comfortable bed which we didn’t want to leave early next morning. Staff were very friendly and restaurants served excellent food . Would stay again if padding through Gatwick .
Excellent food! Excellent service! Friendly staff! Very clean accommodations. Wonderful stay. Staff so kind, warm & friendly. Felt very well looked after. Airport transfer service was excellent! I highly recommend this hotel. Charming restaurant & bar. Room was wonderful, so clean and comfy. Very near Gatwick with no airport noise.
Excellent location and very quiet considering how close to Gatwick it is. Horley train station was within walking distance and so were Waitrose and several restaurants.
The owners were lovely and very accommodating. The room was very nice and everything was as expected. I could not go back to a huge chain like Travelodge or similar.
1. Great location - bus stop right outside the hotel to the airport (early morning too). Very good proximity to Gatwick airport, the area is superb, with nice houses. There is a Waitrose to buy food and a few takeaways.
2. Super rooms- The room was cosy and warm, nice sofa, TV, clean, and the ensuite was nice.
Location excellent as Horley is far enough away from Gatwick airport to be quiet, but short drive away by hotel shuttle. Good choices at their restaurant but we went for short walk to stretch legs and ate at Farmhouse pub, lovely meal, historic building.
Location and quick access by bus and train to and from Gatwick. Nice little breakfast; nice little bar in the hotel to have a nightcap.
Horley is a nice little town. Had a fun evening at Foresters Pub close by the hotel.
The hotel manager was very friendly and helfpul, our room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is included and the hotel is less than 10 minutes walk to Horley train station, near Gatwick airport.
I feel very comfortable and well look after when I stay a this hotel. The staff is very nice and the rooms are very comfortable. This hotel in my opinion is the best at Gatwick airport Terminal South
The location was good. Easy access to Gatwick airport and an early flight. That was the reason I chose this hotel. It was also cheap compared to other hotels in the area.
Handy location for Gatwick Airport - Walking distance from Horley Train Station, in quiet area close to Town centre. Basic rooms but prices fairly reflect this.
