Location was really ideal, close to centre. Host was friendly and welcomed us with a map and ready with recommendations. Bed was comfortable, room was small but pleasant, very clean, and all you could need was provided. Lovely cooked breakfast, quaint breakfast room. Lady who served breakfast was very friendly and polite, asked if everything was ok etc. All in all a great stay.

Just a 5 minute walk from the very heart of Stratford-upon-Avon and all of the town’s famous theaters, this lovely Victorian townhouse offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Virginia Lodge has a great location, just a few hundred yards from the center of town and Stratford-upon-Avon train station. Stratford-on-Avon Racecourse is only a 10 minute walk away, as are the town’s Royal Shakespeare Company theaters. Free off-road parking is available for guests. With just 7 rooms, this family-run bed and breakfast offers friendly, personal service. All of the rooms have private bathrooms and each room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There are 2 rooms with four-poster beds. Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in every room. A full English breakfast is included in the price and vegetarian breakfasts are available. Virginia Lodge also has a trained chiropractor on site.
