The location in the port was excellent. We enjoyed walking around in the evenings and having dinner in the various restaurants.

We were staying a few twisty miles from the main town which is a very interesting place on a steep hill and with almost no traffic - the streets and alley ways are just too narrow. Although we were there at the end of the season there were still a few good restaurants open

A highly interesting and atmospheric town with at least 2 good restaurants. It is set on a steep hillside and a good deal of strenuous walking is included in a stay-walking is the only way to get around. The 2500 years old stone lion on the edge of town is worth the effort to get to it. If we went again we would choose to go a bit more in season when more shops and restaurants are open.

The beaches rival those of anywhere in the world.
The beaches rival those of anywhere in the world. This history of the Island is fascinating and the locals genuinely friendly. I would recommend this Island and in particular the villa we stayed at for peace, tranquillity and beauty. The view of the harbour at night is so beautiful. No wonder the ferries are so busy bringing people from the mainland.

Ioulida is a very picturesque village, but from far away.It is not easy for walking and it has not a lot of interesting places to visit except of a poor archeological museum. But the jewel of Ioulida is the Kea village on the top of the hill with very elegant suites in authentic Cycladic style and an excellent restaurant, which is the big surprise. A paradise for fine food
Lovers and with five star service.I would come back to the island of Kea only to stay here again.

- house equipments in ancient/art style
- beatiful vilage with romantic narrow streets and stairs
- beaches without a lot of people
- evening walks in Loulida with specifics atmosfere are unforgettable
The property is a traditional Greek house and although compact has everything you need for a break (we stayed a week). Our host Marios was very helpful throughout, from his communications prior to our trip, to meeting us at the property and showing us around, to collecting the keys when we left. The property is in central Ioulida and close to the bus stop, taxi rank, mini-markets and restaurants. It is also a great centre for hiking (if that is your thing) with numerous waymarked routes.
There was a very good selection of breakfast foods to choose from. You are given a list on arrival and you tick the items on it that you want. However you will get the same things everyday unless you ask to change!
Our room was super clean, bright and airy and very tastefully equipped. Great attention to detail. We had a very nice balcony with the most spectacular views of Kea and nearby islands. I would say probably the best views in Ioulida. We wish we could have stayed longer.
Marios was a great host, waiting for my arrival in advance! Very communicative, shared his love for the island, pointing out things to do, places to eat at, etc
The house is a dream, very clean and has an awesome view of the whole village of Ioulis! A jewel in Ioulida! I felt really welcomed and enjoyed a lot my first stay in this island! Thank you for your warm presence and for making my stay unforgettable Marios!
This adorable house is close to Ioulida's Piatsa and Kea's trails. There's a mini-market nearby, cafes and restaurants , and a supermarket within a short (admittedly uphill!) walk.
The place is kept clean and is well equipped with everything you might need.
Marios is an amazing host and can share his knowledge about the place.
Just be warned - you'll definitely get lost in the magical alleyways!
Exactly as it shown at the photos!
The house was very clean and well organised, all the amenities that you need and a very comfortable bed.
It is located in the centre of the Chora (Ioulida) with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops at your doorstep
The hostess Maria and her team was always there to help and provided all the necessary information for a pleasant stay at the island!
The room was very clean and big as well. Perfect for a family of four. The location is good. 2 minutes from the main village Ioulida and 6 mins drive from the port. In addition the owners were very good and kind to us. They allowed us to check in earlier and leave later than the usual.
The hosts were great, very accommodating, easy to reach and have added really nice small touches throughout. The apartments felt brand new with a modern and sleek decoration and were also close to the port and Ioulida which was convenient as well. highly recommend!
Location is great in center of the chora, Ioulida, which is not on the coast but close by it. It is a hill town. From the property you can walk to great cafes etc but it is also very quiet and the view to the sea is stunning. Too bad I could not stay longer.
Nice location with parking. Spacious room with great, unlimited view. Good Internet connection. Available slippers and olive showel gel. Very polite and friendly hotel manager.
