We had excellent directions to walk to the property and our host was very responsive, he met us there and made sure we were comfortable. There was lots of space, the air conditioning worked well, we were able to wander easily to the square for dinner with a view of the port. We felt safe and the property was well maintained. Definitely recommend.

This was a great place for me and my family of 4 to stay after a long day of travel. The apartment had everything we needed to feel like a home away from home. The owners were very responsive and kind. The apartment is quiet, tastefully decorated and very clean. The view from the balcony was a nice bonus. There are nice restaurants, bakeries and cafes close by.

The property was much bigger than expected. It was super clean and looked better in person than in photos. It’s near the port. Took us 5 minutes will all our luggage to get to the port. Perfect if you have to make it to an early ferry ride. Host was very responsive.

What a pleasant experience! My partner and I couldn't stop talking about the kindness we were shown upon our arrival. I booked the Caldera knowing that it was a short walk to the ferry and that it has a '24 hour reception', since we were landing in Athens after midnight and planned to taxi to Rafina (25min) for an overnight stay, before taking the ferry to Andros island the next day. After I booked the accommodation, I was quickly offered airport pick-up from Mr. Michalis the owner. I accepted, as the rate was cheaper than a normal taxi, and it's nice to have an arranged pick-up. After a series of flight delays, we ended up arriving 2-3 hours later. I texted Mr. Michalis saying I understood if he wanted to cancel the pick-up, but he was very kind in waiting for our arrival. In the early hours of the morning, he drove us safely to the accommodation with a very friendly attitude. He clearly has love for Rafina and the apartments. So pleasant! The ground floor apartment was spacious and had all the comforts we needed. It had a sizable bedroom, two toilets, a cozy living space, and a kitchen with snacks and a water filter machine. The apartment was indeed an 8 minute walk to the ferry and we were able to do a self-check out, allowing for a stress-free morning after a long day of travel. A great start to the trip. Highly recommended!

Rafina îs a nice place to stay if you eat to be close to the airport . We spent 2 nites and hired a car . This means you can drive to Rafina ( an EASY 25 min drive ) and the next day we drove back to the airport to take the tram into Monastraki Athens to go to Plaka etc and back to the airport ( 9Euro each way ) .This way no parking issues in Athens . The Port Rafina is cute with dozens of great restuarants in the port

Compact, self contained unit. Very friendly host. Close to Ferry port and Rafina Square. Takes about 20 minutes walk to Port. If youbhave many heavy luggage, an issue. Else, very comfortable. Has a useful small kitchen with adequate utensils and stove. Comfy bed.

It has lovely views of Evia and the Attica coastline. it is a charming little town which does not feel too touristy at this time of year but is bery busy with the ferries in summer. It has nice lttle shops and good supermarkets. There is the little mariners'church of St Nicholas to visit and the bigger church. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars to enjoy with a variety of good food especially fresh fish and salads. The people are friendly and wlecoming and it is not too expensive. Ir has a real living town atmosphere. It is also easy to go to Athens from there with the bus and metro and it is worth going t Louthsa, Nea MAkri and Marathonas.You can take a trip to Evia and Andros even for a day.

I am always wary of staying in port locations especially at night but Rafina is relaxed and comfortable and well lit. I felt safe there as a single traveller but I stayed around the main busy areas just in case. The local restaurants are quality and friendly and everything is available straight off the ferries so you don’t have to drag your luggage far to a bar/ ticket seller or taxis -just a few meters.

Nice little town.

Nice little town. Perfect for those taking the ferry from Rafina or if you are flying our of the Athens Airport. It is about a half hour drive. We stayed at the Avra hotel which has a good breakfast and the restaurant for dinner is delicious. This hotel also has a free shuttle to and from the airport. So if you are taking a ferry from Rafina this would be the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Restaurants in the area are pretty good and there is a beach just down from the hotel. We have stayed there before and will definitely stay again. 😊

A wonderful modern apartment. Everything you could want was provided, down to extra beach towels, a clothes drying rack and fruit in the fridge, all of which were very welcome. Other hotels could learn a lot about how cleverly the space was organised. Little touches like the phone charging adaptors on the bedside tables lifted this apartment from good to excellent. We found the town of Rafina to be friendly and pleasant. Altogether a great experience.

Free shuttle service from the airport with a late flight, very quick transfer to the hotel. Great location to Rafina port, 5 minute easy walk to the ferries. Lovely restaurant/breakfast room over looking the port, perfect when waiting for a ferry.

Excellent place to stay near Rafina Harbour waitin' for the ship to islands. Really nice staff. They also organized our transportation very smoothly from the airport. Kitchen was full on food.
