One of the few places with designated parking spaces this newly renovated hotel offers great spaces and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Staff was extremely hospitable and serviceable: helping us with parking and recommending where to visit in the area. The bathroom was very luxurious. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

The owner greeted us and helped us with our bags. Dimitsana is a typical Greek mountain village with narrow streets, hills and stairs. Parking was nearby. The location is in the center of town everything was within a short walk. There is a market across the street with lots of delicious looking goods. The people we met in town were very friendly and had passable English. Our room had a princess bed very comfortable, a wood burning fireplace. The bathroom was large with a large shower with multiple heads. The owners offered figs and sweets in the PM. Breakfast was served at your time with hot goods served and cold goods served buffet style with so many choices you can't possibly try them all.
Centrally located in the scenic Dimitsana village, Guest house Lousios features elegant, minimalistic, individually decorated rooms. The village square with shops and taverns is 66 feet away.

Our stay at this accommodation was nothing short of exceptional. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the spaciousness of the rooms provided a level of comfort that made our trip truly enjoyable. What truly set this place apart, though, was the genuinely friendly and welcoming owners. Their hospitality made us feel like a valued guest, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay.

Dimitsana is great for a weekend visit, because it's located close to Athens with easy access. There are various things you can do, besides tasting great food. Hicking, walking in the forests, rafting are some of the activities you can try.

I feel like one doesn’t have a full picture of Greece without a visit to a hill town like Dimitsana. Lovely, lively, intriguing. Drive respectfully or not at all. Visit the monastery (you have to open the gate yourself during visiting hours), walk the hills, visit the water power museum and simply enjoy authentic Greece.

We appreciated the helpfulness of our host. He directed us to a hike that we wanted to make and helped facilitate transportation so we could be dropped off at one end and hike back to the village. We enjoyed a traditional breakfast both of the mornings we stayed at the guesthouse. The room was comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to enjoy the view of the village.

We stayed for 2 nights, which could have been longer, but there was so much to see in Peloponnese. We had a day to hike the gorge and visit monasteries, which shouldn't be missed. (One can actually drive close to them, but the hike was beautiful.) Some good restaurants in town, too.

A somewhat alternative destination, a beautiful village with a good selection of small shops and restaurants/cafes. Lots of options to hike in the surrounding forest and Lousios gorge as well as other outdoor activities in the neighbouring villages.

A charming historic hillside town with narrow streets, so expect "squeezy" traffic situations with caution the order of the day. The locals are generally understanding of visitors.
The same applies for the main access roads too and from. They are both entertaining and slow, be patient and you will enjoy, you're on holiday after all. Drive by line of sight. Not too many photo opportunities, rush and you'll miss them.
Restaurants are economical and enjoyable, service is good as is the food, good basic fare.
The breakfasts were incredible, gourmet, prepared for each guest with a unique menu each day. They were extremely generous with 3 courses presented beautifully and served with a smile. The manager and the owners are lovely and very attentive. Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge but a simple call would work. There is a lift inside but you have 3 steps to get inside and the luggage has to be carried a short distance from the car to the guesthouse. It’s a lovely place and we felt very welcomed. They take great pride in their guesthouse.
The Amanites Guesthouse is a great place to stay in Dimitsana. Hara and Aris and their staff were so wonderfully accommodating. They have done a fabulous job transforming their family home into a beautiful BnB. Everything is so tastefully appointed, yet personal and very sincere. And incredibly clean and light. They couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful with lots of personal attention. This was one of the nicest small hotels we’ve stayed in over many years of traveling.
We had to leave early to catch a flight in Athens. They came in at 6:30 on Sunday and made us breakfast. The hotel was at the end of town and a short walk to the trail. Elena took out a map and showed us the trail and the monasteries. She also pointed out where we could call a taxi. The room was lovely with a fireplace and a jacuzzi bathtub.
It is located within a beautiful and serene environment. Love the fresh air and the beautiful of nature. The hotel is tastefully designed 👍👍
The owner is very professional, thank you for going the extra miles to walk out to the entrance to direct us to your hotel when we arrived late.
The breakfast was hot and homemade! Love the experience.
I'd read the amazing views of this property and couldn't agree more. Everything about our stay from the check in to the room to the breakfast and the beautiful surroundings exceeded our expectations. What a treat to get to stay in this family's guest house and experience the absolute joy of Dimitsana!
-Perfect location very close to Dimitsana and Lagkadia
-Quiet and family friendly, with a nice bbq area, big living room, and patio, which allows for a big group to enjoy.
-Next to a small taverna and small shop in case someone does not wish to visit a nearby village
-Close to the forest for a hike
The people working at the hotel were extremely accomodating
Danae who received us helped us with everything that we asked for. The service was very personal. Costas, the owner was really helpful, much more than expected.
It's a little homely hotel with a wonderful view. Highly recommended
Beautifully restored guesthouse, full of character and set in the gorgeous mountain village of Dimitsana. Our hosts, Ilyas and Katherine were very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was superb and absolutely delicious. Would love to return in the future.
A gem in the heart of Dimitsana! The owners make you feel welcome and taken care of, everything is just splendid - from the room decor and comfort to the location and price/value ratio. It’s not just 10 out of 10, it’s 100 out of 10.
Proselinos is a marvelous place in a wonderful, scenic mountain town. The couple running it are exceptional hosts in every way, including delicious breakfasts and spotless, renovated rooms. My favorite place in Greece!
We loved everything about the hotel. The room was lovely with a nice little balcony. Breakfast was plentiful wirh lots of homemade pies and pastries. The owners took good care of us. We really enjoyed our stay.
Fabulous breakfast and always enough to take away for lunch too.
The hotel was in a great location in the village, very close to restaurants and coffee shops.
Our room had beautiful views over the mountains.
Amazing quirky mountain hotel, with fireplace in rooms (winter only, wood and lighters supplied). There is standard AC heating. Really enjoyed fireplace in room and restaurant. Food was superb.
Charming, clean, comfortable and within a 5-min walk from Dimitsana’s central square. The owner and her mother-in-law were extremely nice, friendly and hospitable
