Really kind people, hospitality is the main feature for this hotel, also it is centrally located (few meters from beach), and couple of minutes from capital city, and it is very clean. The owners are willing to assist in a happy mood. Best accommodation in the area. We will be back for sure.

Central location on the harbour. Regular cleaning of room.
A very quiet village. Not a lot open in May. The town was a little rough feeling. We were on bicycles and hoped to travel to the other side of the island, but the elevation gain was too much. We heard the other side was much more beautiful and more options.

It needs some updating but I have visited it several times so I will always love it. Food is great. View is great. The people are people. The north side is a little more tourist friendly but I love the Agios side

I loved the spectacular serene location and the work of Eleni who almost single handedly provided the guests with every comfort she could. The owner of the Pensione, Voula, was very grateful to have her working for her all these years.
In addition Eleni invited me to her own home and drove me down to the Port to catch my Ferry back to Athens.

If you go to Ikaria Agios Kirykos is a great place to base yourself if you don't have a car. There are a few buses in the day that will bring you to villages around the island and back, and a boat that will you to Therma and back at least every half hour, and there's another boat that will bring you Magganitis some days but that boat won't bring you back to Agios Kirykos, you can get a taxi from Magganitis back to Agios Kirykos though for around €30. There are tons of great restaurants, cafes and bars around and the area is just gorgeous. Ikaria is a great island to get away from touristy things and has so many different places to explore
The owner, Alithini, was lovely and went out of her way to help my sister and me. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable too.
The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely and welcoming.
We actually didn't originally book to stay here but the place we had booked cancelled our booking the week before we were to arrive because of "health issues". But we were glad they did because we were very comfortable where we were and there was a balcony which was not offered at the first property,.
All in all excellent.
Good communication, good location, very friendly staff. Melissa is super nice and friendly and accommodating. Strong A/C.
Perfectly located: in the center of Therma a 5 min cab or bus ride from ferry dock.
Hotel is in walking distance (200 yards) to the famous hot tub and the beach. Lovely swimming and snorkeling, with swimming access to the hot tub. Which is really hot, sourcing heat from rocks in the back of the hot tub. You enjoy a natural hot tub on top of an inactive volcano - absolutely stunning!!
Akti is the perfect place to stay in ikaria! Location is perfect, right in center of the island, one of the only places where the bus take you from the airport and there's also a port - probably the most accessible place in the area. The hotel has its own coffee/bar with delicious food and opened until 2am, so you always have facilities. And most of all: the owners are SO nice! They'll take care of you as you're part of the family, you feel helped, welcome, and have great laughs! Recommend so much ♡
Ikaria is an amazing island, we love it and appreciate it a lot for the scenarios, the sea and the food that you can often find all around Greek islands, but particularly here we found amazing and kind people, the owners of the hotel are very nice and gentle people, putting the effort in what they do, always positive. The hotel respect the standards of a nice ikarian stay. Thank you and hope to see you soon !
The room is very comfortable, with a fridge, the view n the sea is undescribable ', having breakfast on this balcony was incredible. The hotel staff is adorable and very professional and helpful. I loved the pool and sunbeds and the hammock too. I had three wonderful nights in this hotel and I absolutely loved my stay at Agios Kyrikos. Thank you Greece for your generosity and hospitality. ☺️
Delightful, very comfortable experience with a hotel in the heart of Therma run by Marina, a bright, hard working owner who carries on an operation started by her mother in the 70’s. It feels personal for her. Our room had a balcony and open windows with views and was super airy. It was spotless. Great location and real helpful host. Ez to just hang in the room and outside areas.
It was very interesting to learn how hotel was originally built. The mountain had to be cut away in order for the hotel to be built
Kastrò is located in center of town but be aware that there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the hotel if you have suitcases
Staff is very hardworking and very hospitable. Small pool was a pleasure to cool off in
Perfect location for few days in Icaria. The hotel is in a super quiet spot in Therma with a mountain view. It's super close to the beach and the facilities in Therma and if you have a car it's really easier to reach any other location on the island. It has also a parking spot which was great during our holiday in August.
If you are going to agios kyrikos , this is a great place to stay. It is on a quiet street, but only a 10 minute walk from The center of town. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff is super accommodating. They serve a nice continental breakfast & we get anything else you want. Couldn’t be happier!

I was so lucky some locals gave me a lift to hotel from ferry at midnight. Next day I walked 2 km. Back to Agia Kyriakos to hire car. I didn't like Therma. It's grubby. Noise from neighbours at night. Thermal baths closed for renovations. There is an elevator.
A small village with lovely and kind people! The hotel contains a cozy backyard in order to relax and have breakfast. Filippos is so cool, do not miss the chance to have a discussion with him :). He is willing to help you with any request.
This place was truly amazing! Such a traditional feeling with modern amenities. The views are the best on the island. I’ve been to Ikaria few times before and this hotel is my favorite part of the island so far. Cant wait to come back!
The location is beautiful and close to the town of Ayios Kyrikos if you have a car.
The property is beautiful and the idea behind the “resort” style hotel is good.
The room was comfortable.
The lady preparing breakfast was pleasant.
The hotel was at walking distance to beach and restaurants. The owners and staff were very nice and friendly. Room was what expected for Ikaria, simple and clean. Overall great experience, we would come back!
This hotel is located in a side alley of Therma, it's a very quite place overlooking fields and a peaceful neighbourhood. The rooms are spacious and the one we stayed in had a lovely balcony.
The location is right in the heart of Ikaria's main port, Agios Kirykos. Plenty of places to eat in the evening and much more atmosphere than any other of the island's towns or villages.
