The town was lovely. Friendly people. Would recommend going during peak times if you want to explore more of the town. Most things are not available during April. I wanted to do the 3island tour but went off peak time so that was not available. The town is lovely you can walk around everywhere. Don’t book transfer take the local bus it’s 3.50euros. A lot cheaper. Transfer from hotel is a rip off. The cabs do take card out there as well. Defo go to the hamam aretmis that was really good.

Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination.
Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination. If you are looking to do the three Islands cruise in 1 day, do it, but book down at the harbour rather through an agent or your hotel. Rather than paying 38 Euros per person, we got it for 20 Euros.
We received some great restaurant recommendations from the wonderful staff at the Diamond Boutique Hotel. We found the best restaurants were a couple streets back from the harbour restaurants.

There are a lot of interesting ancient sites and monuments (greek, roman and medieval).
It was very pleasant cycling along the coast to Tigaki beach (with hire bikes) for sunbathing and a leisurely lunch and then around the salt lake, to see the small flock of flamingos in residence there.
The town itself is a very popular tourist spot for families with lots of facilities.

Kos town at night was lovely.
Kos town at night was lovely.
Lots of ancient sites to see. but quite a few recommendations in our guide book (2022) are closed
The Mosque in the main square is fenced off and looks as if it has been that way for quite some time. The area around Hippocrates Tree is also fenced off and almost derelict which was a shame.
Good restaurants away from harbour, especially Iannos, and Ali.

Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see. Lots of bars/cafes and quaint shops. Love the tree lined streets. The harbour is lovely…. especially feeding the fish! Many boat trips available to other islands and ferries to Turkey. Long promenade ….. walked from Kos to Psalidi. Enjoyed the vibe as visited in October so probably not as busy as high season. Fairly flat so easy to access for anyone with mobility issues. Many and varied places to eat.

It is a very beautiful city where history, sun, sea and good food come together. It is very close to Turkey and can be easily visited. If planned well, you can easily go anywhere on the island by public buses. Especially Zia and Asklepion should be seen.
Had an absolutely amazing stay at Theros. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The decor was stunning and the pool was amazing. We loved the style of the whole hotel. The setting was great with easy access to the beach and a short walk to the centre of Kos Town. The breakfast was outstanding; with both buffet and a La Carte options available. The staff were all excellent and extremely friendly and because it is a smaller hotel felt that they got to know us as the week went on.
What a great little apartment, with easy walking Kos town. It's really close to the beach too, we had a gorgeous swim the evening we arrived. And enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the morning.
Aqua Dream has everything you need and more for your stay (..a bottle of water on arrival/in the fridge would be an extra nice touch for guests).
We had great chats about Greece with Maria our host, and are really happy to recommend the place - efcharistó Maria.
This is our 2nd time here, unfortunately both during COVID times, which meant the hotel was not overly busy. The location and sea view aspect is amazing, a short walk out of the centre of Kos Town. With the pool on the 1st floor, all rooms accessible by lift (if needed) there was plenty of space to sunbathe and relax. The hotel team were, as ever, friendly and helpful. The room's balcony was simply huge.
We absolutely loved the apartment, it was clean, comfortable, and well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches to enhance our stay. Petros was a very welcoming and helpful host who went beyond the norm to make sure our stay went well. Combine all of that with a location just a few minutes walk from the heart of Kos Town, and we can't imagine there being a better place to stay on Kos.
Excellent hotel, very relaxing, fantastic choice at breakfast and great staff! Rooms really big and spacious, almost like suites. Pool and bar area amazing. Location is approx 1km out of town but it’s a very flat walk so if you like walking then it’s not a problem, only 10 mins to the beach and town centre. But that is offset by the hotel and great facilities. Definitely recommend!
Nice to be able to find a clean, comfortable room for a reasonable price in the centre of Kos town. We weren't visiting for a holiday so we didn't need a view or a big balcony or even a big room. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. No bug screens on the windows so we just used the air con, which cooled the room nicely and drowned out any noise from outside.
We had the most perfect stay at Pelagos Suites Hotel & Spa. Beautiful place, really nice and helpful staff, and an amazing animation team. All inclusive food from the restaurant was really good, and we also enjoyed the nice snacks and crepes from the snack bar a lot. The possibility to book a cabana at the pool side was an extra bonus. We will for sure come back!
It's a simple cheapish hotel as evident from the description. We stayed in the "loft" on the topmost floor which sleeps three people. Many stairs, no elevator, recently repainted, hard beds (as common in Greece), efficient A/C directed not to blow on anybody's face. No luxury, but OK for a short stay in town.
Everything!! Facilities, room, services, staff all excellent. Beautiful modern hotel newly built. The pool is sparkling and so is everything else. The staff are fantastic, the food is lovely, the location is easy - near the beach, kos town, and transport to other sites on the island. Really recommend!
The hotel is in center of Kos Island, almost everywhere is walking distance. The room was big enough, cleaning service was taking care of rooms everyday and the breakfast was very rich! We spent time in the rooftop pool until the check-in hour and the bartender in there is very friendly too.
Staff is very helpful all the time. They also help in suggesting places to see, go and eat. Rooms, the building and the facilities are clean and the overall hygiene is good. Quite good location in Kos town - walking distance to most facilities. Breakfast is good with a variety of choices.
Dimitris was very kind and helpful and he was always attentive to the service of the guests. The location in Kos Town was good and the hotel was very clean. Overall is a good economic option for whose who go with a restricted budget, but need something clean, comfy and well-located.
Great base for a short stay near to the harbour and the various sites to see in and around Kos Town. Set back from the busy.centre, with some lovely eateries nearby. Room modern and clean. Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.
Location is excellent. Close to harbor and right in Kos town. Family who owns it is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed sitting on outside balcony. Downstairs shop was very convenient for buying water, etc.
one of the best value hotel during my times in Greece for few months.
good location, cleanliness, service, comfort, shower.. just everything you wish for.
100% would return if I ever come to Kos again.
Amazing hotel, seamless check in and out, helpful staff. All inclusive food is great, drinks are as to be expected- you can order premium brands/wine and pay extra which we did. Brilliant massage!
