Lots of tavernas and bars both on the harbour and in the town. There are several small supermarkets which stock a big variety, but don't think Waitrose. We liked the Tropicana platanos taverna, the seahorse hotel (to eat) and the bakery. On the negative side you will leave Molivos fitter than when you arrived. Mithimna is a really picturesque place which has retained its traditional character. There are spectacular views. The castle is well worth visiting. You can enjoy walking through the narrow streets and feeling is if you are in another time and place. Even in late October it is possible to bathe and there were a few restaurants and cafes open. There are many restaurants in the small harbour serving fresh fish and seafood.MaryGreece

It felt very luxurious and relaxing, and it definitely gave it a resort feel, with the gorgeous view before you, and the setting. There’s a short walk into the main town/beach area, but there’s also a small quiet beach nearby, which is great for a sunset swim. And being outside of town means it’s a very peaceful setting. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Even providing a needle and advice when I accidentally stood on a sea urchin!! The hotel itself is lovely and the room was pristine, with a spectacular view from the balcony. We will definitely stay again!

While the hotel ran activities for the guests, it was very respectful in terms of quiet times at night and we had nice restful nights.
