A restored 1916 mansion, this 4-star hotel fuzes modern-day amenities and 19th-century nostalgia. Everything was great. Nice staff, beautiful property and great breakfast.

The narrow, winding streets were just charming albeit a constant game of dodging motorcycles and cars because of the minimal sidewalks. The churches were extraordinary, filled with glitter and mystery. Dozens and dozens of restaurants on the edge of the water offered a huge variety of ambiance and delectables. But best all was the Teriade Museum, a true gem, first class museum not to be missed. Take a taxi there because it is hard to find and check to make sure it is open before you go in the off season.
Returned from other part of Lesvos and had a day to walk around Mytilene Be sure to visit the Archaeological Museum with fantastic mosaics, the Old harbor with its bayside restaurants, take a look at he Turkish castle , and go to great old ouzerie/coffee house/restaurants like O Hermes, which opened in 1800 and have truly fabulous food in a great atmosphere.
A very friendly island with lots to see and do.out of the tourist route which gives it extra character. Lots of good Greek food at plenty of great tarvernas.plenty of great swimming areas with calm clear emerald waters.plenty of history.
Lesvos is under appreciated. it's a beautiful island and spring is a wonderful time to visit when the wildflowers are blooming and the migratory birds are passing through. the town of Mytilene is bustling so to enjoy the best of the island drive, cycle, or bicycle out to the many villages and monasteries.
For me Mytilene is one of my favorite places. It may not be the most beautiful of towns but I love the energy and the Greekness. When I am there I feel Greek, not a tourist. There are 2 excellent museums and the ancient theatre just out of town is the one that Pompey based his theatre in Rome on. Nature and themal spas are also excellent. Fishermen dot the harbour sorting out their nets and the days catch. The airport has regular flights to Athens and Thessaloniki.
Very scenic town on the bay. Beautiful views of the water and boats. Plenty of wonderful shops in an old world setting. Side street cafes and restaurants were delightful. I will stay longer next time!

The hotel manager Irene went out of her way to accommodate our every need. The breakfast is excellent. The location is walking distance to beach and market. Very clean and we had plenty of room in the family suite for 2 adults and 3 children. On site mini playground was also a plus.

Super clean, close to center, good hospitality. We used rooms for resting after all day trip around the island. Never expected a 5 star hotel comfort but clean bathroom, sheets, bed deserves a 10 point. Good price / performance.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the location! There was a small market two doors down so I could quickly get the basics, and a larger market a few blocks away. A quick two block walk to the street with shops, restaurants, bars, and amazing bakeries! The harbor in just one more street, a easy quick 5-6 minute walk from my room--to more restaurants/bars with a view of the harbor. The room was spacious - a bedroom and a separate living room/dining room/kitchen area. The rooms were very clean. I appreciated the windows that made the room bright and airy. It was hot during my stay in Mytilene, and the air conditioning was great. Although close to everything, it was quiet.

The view from the balcony was the best of the bay. No other hotel in town could have the panoramic and beautifull view of the church and government buildings lighted all night. It was like a dream. The breakfast was good and abundant, the staff gentle and corteous,
