Damon and Theano truly made our honeymoon one to remember. Their recommendations on food and places to visit were spot on. What stood out was how Damon was able to reserve our dinner and cooking classes at Karimalis winery, the one featured in the Blue Zones! Damon and Theano were very warm and hospitable, and really made us feel like family.

We liked the location and appreciated we had a roof over our head but unfortunately the hotel was basically closed down when we showed up. The person at the front desk was not able to communicate properly and left us a note with a key. We showed ourselves to a cold room with no heat.

The location is a bit far from the airport, so you will definitely need a rental car but we enjoyed driving all around the island! The villas were simply perfect - tons of space and absolutely everything you need!! And the staff was SO super friendly. We loved our stay here, can't wait to return!! Oh and the breakfast was so delicious!!

Armenistis is a lovely place to stay but if you want to see the best parts of the island you really need a car. I didn't have one and felt that I didn't see more than the beach. The seasonal bus had stopped running so I wasn't able to go very far which was quite frustrating. The fresh water terrapins in the lagoons at the back of the beaches are very special.

The whole Ikaria experience was great from spectacular sea views from apartment and friendliness of owner to getting out and about visiting the area. great value for money. The highlight of the stay was sat on our lovely patio area seeing a school of whales basking in the early morning sun, Would add that the accommodation is not in ARMENISTIS but a couple of miles further on in NAS which is lovely and 4 or 5 restaurants all together.

A relaxed, low-key unpretentious town on the more green and pleasant side of Ikaria. Beautiful sandy beaches are close by, as are a couple of coastal villages with extra choices of tavernas as well as some pretty villages in the hills. Be prepared for signs and menus to be in Greek, it's not developed for the package tourist, which is lovely.
Look out for Panagiri, feasts and dancing in the local villages, and Ikarian experience.

Probably the best location to stay in Ikaria but you need a car to travel around and explore the area (I didn't notice any public transportation). Nice beaches (such as Mesakti) and mountain villages (e.g. Raches) in short distance. Not close to Seychelles beach (the island's best) but the road to get there is not too bad.

More touristy part of beautiful Ikaria, lovely and clean beaches (we saw some swimming turtles!! :) One place from which you can observe sunset and sunrise also. Goat icecream in Armenistis is a must.
Very nice stay at a fantastic location. The room was spacious and kitchen included everything you could need for your stay. This property has one of the best wievs of the sunset in Ikaria.
I recommend asking the property in advance the day you arrive, what your room is and where it is located. There is no reception so information in advance is needed!
Villa christina also helped us rent a car and were easy to contact during the stay if something was needed.
Fantastic newly built apartment complex, fully equipped, suitable for a long stay. Perfectly situated right by the sea, you can enjoy a panoramic sea view both from the balcony and from inside the apartment. Amazing hosts, very polite and organized. Communication was very easy and the apartment was super clean, with all the amenities and fully stocked for our visit (during Christmas). Excellent choice if you want to stay in Armenistis.
First I would like to be clear: this was my best experience on a Greek island. Even better than Samotraki and Rhodos.
People are very nice anywhere you go, restaurants, shops, bars, places.
At Selene, Theano and Damon are working hard to make your stay excellent. So many thanks! Everything was nice and pleasant. We followed some of their recommendations in order to visit the island: https://www.selenehotel.com/new-page
Great summer house, very clean, very beautiful, full of all kind of equipments in the kitchen. Nice view from the terrrace, spending time at the terrace was really relaxing and comfortable. Good location, only a short walk to Armenistis for good restaurants and shops. But you may need a car to reach to some popular beaches around like Mesakti. We highly recommend this house if you are planning to visit Armenistis.
The perfect spot for a relaxing holiday on wonderful Ikaria. The house is up the hill from Nas village and the whole of the Armenistis, Mesakti and Evdilos are reachable by car. The house is well appointed with the best views on the island of the sunset. The hosts are extremely hospitable and the house was cleaned very well every other day. Would return in a heartbeat! A real oasis.
Everything was absolutely fantastic!! The house is very clean and very confortable! The view is magnific! The host Elyas was so kind and nice - helped was with everything, took us to a Village tradicional party, and was allways available. The Best place to stay in Armenistis and nearby!!! We had a great time. Thank you Elyas! And a big hug. See you next year!
A very special place on a very special island. A spacious terrace to sit at with crashing waves down below throughout the day, which made every moment wonderful.
A very kind hostess who made everything easy to deal with.
Located ideally in walking distance between the two villages of Armenistis and Gialiskari, both with great local restaurants.
The staff was so kind and helpful! Thanks you so much for a fantastic stay in Ikaria! Thank you Marina for your patience and accuracy assisting us with arrangements and connections and to all of the lovely staff for your kindness and even translation! The hotel is beautiful and the brunch is amazing. See you again on our next Greece visit.
Great place in Armenistis, which is the center of the island. Big and spacious apartment, renovated, exceptionally clean and with great view over the Aegean. Most importantly, Tzeni the owner is very friendly and accommodating and has numerous great recommendations for the island. Can't wait to visit again!
We liked the location and appreciated we had a roof over our head but unfortunately the hotel was basically closed down when we showed up. The person at the front desk was not able to communicate properly and left us a note with a key. We showed ourselves to a cold room with no heat.
Helen, the owner’s mother, and the people who help her clean are very welcoming and helpful
Excellent location, walking distance to armenistis town (5 min) and beach.
Easy parking
Large room
Large balcony with somewhat of a sea view
Thoughtful treats
The hotel is beautiful. I would recommend paying a bit more for a room with a view of the sea. The sunrises are amazing. The property has steps to get to the sea. The staff are professional, accommodating, and very personable. I hope to visit again.
The hotel far exceeded our expectations for the price. The host, Nikos, went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and the views from the hotel room were just stunning.
Our room had a private balcony with a wonderful view of both the sea and Massakti Beach. The common areas were inviting and comfortable.. The breakfast was also very good.
Breakfast Not included but we had a Kitchenette and breakfast on the large balcony with a wonderful view and sunbeds.
A very relaxing Holiday with the Beach just beside.
The Hotel is next to Armenistis beach. Everything is in a walking distance, cafes, bars, restaurants. The view from the room was amazing!! Totally recommended!
