The hotel is located perfectly just a bit off the sea shore with its many restaurants so it is quiet yet near enough to the many restaurants there, near the central square and the fortress which is a "must" visit.
Comfy rooms, wonderful and rich breakfast served on the terrace providing a view to the sea. The hotel is run by two lovely women who keep it neat and make sure the visitor gets everything he needs.

Gialova is definitely worth visiting, clear waters, tasty food, shops, parking, smiley faces. Pylos is really close in case you feel the need to see and learn more. History is calling you when in Gialova, if you have time, learn more about the surroundings. Do travel to Peloponnese, do visit and stay in Gialova. It is beautiful.

Gialova is an attractive village next to the sea.
Gialova is an attractive village next to the sea. It is not overdeveloped, so it is green and quiet and not too busy in early July. There is a pleasant beach, plenty of restaurants and a few small, general shops. There is a good range of provisions and good quality ice cream at Martins. For more facilities you can drive to Pylos which is about 15 minutes drive away (and a pretty little town). You are close to Voidokilia beach, Nestor's Palace and several waterfalls. We drove to ancient Messini one day (about 1 hour and 10 mins), which was amazing.

There is a very good selection of bars and restaurants in a very small area and it all looked lovely. I had not been expecting what I found at all. Looking it up on the Internet does not do it justice. Very sweet and very unspoilt. Fantastic homemade ice cream shop. The nature reserve was wonderful and the walk along to see Voidokilia Bay was breathtaking. You can hire push bikes and it is flat o easy to get around if you don’t have a car. I was only there one night and could easily have done 3. Will definitely be back.

Gialova is a beautiful, small village with a lovely choice of restaurants, all reasonably priced. I thought it was really good value for money and the quality of food was impressive! The view across the bay is mesmerising, with amazing sunsets. Really friendly and welcoming Greek community. Public transport is quite adhoc and taxis are limited so recommend hiring own transport.
We stayed for a week in September, it was wonderful. Our apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and had beautiful views and a big balcony.
The pool is lovely, very clean and not busy when we were there.
A big thank you to the lady who cleans the apartments, she does a brilliant job.
The walk into Gialova is about 20 minutes, footpaths almost all the way when you get to the main road.
Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from.
We hired bikes and cycled to beaches and the nature reserve so you can get by without a car.
Thanos Village is a gem in Gialova. The rooms are in buildings nestled in an olive grove on the hillside with views to the sea. It is an easy walk to the village with excellent seaside restaurants and shops. There is plenty of parking steps from your door and two beautiful infinity pools on the property. Our bathroom was spacious and had a walk-in shower with rain shower head. The kitchenette was perfect for a week-long stay and I was able to work remotely on the large patio overlooking the sea with excellent Wi-Fi.
Quiet location close to Gialova bars and restaurants. Just what we needed for a relaxing week away. Very well equipped for self catering and days on the beach. This is a well cared for and maintained family holiday home. Clean and comfortable. Hanny was on hand for any queries. We enjoyed the veranda and garden for lazy breakfasts and afternoon snoozes. Glasses on wine and salty snacks listening to the birds in the evening. Loved our stay and we would go back.
The Villa is on the beach with a lovely view of the Bay of Navarino from the patio and from indoors. There is privacy and easy access to the beach and it is a pleasant stroll the Gialova shops and tavernas. Also charming Pilos is a short drive and Voidokilia Beach is a nice bike ride away. The Villa is very comfortable, well equipped and large, with a beautiful covered patio as well as open space for lounging. Wifi worked well. Ideal for 2 people.
Great place to stay. Rooms are very spacious, beds are for kings, kitchen with plenty items (a kettle would be nice though).
The pool is great with bar on the side, with genuine stone around the edges that gives a nice touch.
Car parking behind the complex is good to have.
Next to the hotel there is a very nice family restaurant with amazing food and fair prices.
Access to the beach is just across the road.
The property is located very close to the Gialova Beach and few kilometers to Voidokilia beach. There is around an olive tree orchard. The owner is very friendly. House is more than clean.
The owner speak well English, so is very easy to communicate.
The view from the house about Navarino bay is amazing !!!
There are more historical places in the neighborhood. (Nestor Palace, Pylos Castle, Methoni Castle)
The appartment was great, the balcony and view spectacular (best sunsets!) The pool felt secluded and the loungers were comfy. You had everything you need. Near to the best beaches (Romanos was our favourite), Martins at the bottom for essentials and lunch to take to the beach. Only 15 minutes walk to the wonderful restaurants on the Gialova sea front.
Our favourite accommodation in Greece. This apartment was new and had everything
You needed. Tasos, was very responsive to any questions we had. Bed was comfortable and the view of the sea was very nice. The houses are even nicer in person than the photos. We loved the nearby beaches but the pool was very nice when we used. Great place!
Huge room with a lovely terrace looking out over the lagoon in the distance. Host is very kind and welcoming. Beach is just a few minutes by car or a twenty minute walk away. Gialova town, with all is restaurants, is only fifteen minutes by foot. Perfect getaway in Messenia with plenty of things to do in the area.
The garden was lovely.. the bed was really comfy. Apartment very pretty and well equipped. The owner Roi was so kind and friendly and gave us great recommendations for where to eat. 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants . Really good shop just across the road. Gialova is a lovely place.
Roi is a very welcoming and warm host. She treated us more as her friends than her customers. The property and thr apartments are very clean and neat. Location of the apartment is very convenient, you're close to the main food center of the village (just a few steps away) and to beautiful beaches.
Spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean room, with a large balcony and an incredible view. Amazing pool area. Quiet location, near the lovely seaside village of Gialova. Thanos and the rest of the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Lovely, clean and spacious apartment. We loved the terrasse with view to the Gialova gulf, green olive woods and beatiful sunsets. It was equiped with everything we need. Very polite host. We had a great time. We recommmed it definately.
An amazing hotel in the town. The beach is simply amazing and there is a lot of wonderful nature around and the promenade of the town is lovely. Everything is well-kept and pleasant.
It’s right on the water with a private strip of beach. The rooms are very nice and fairly large for a European hotel. The breakfast is massive and the restaurant has great food.
The best location in Gialova!
Breakfast was great, and staff was really welcoming.
I had a problem with my room and they know how to fix it in the best way.
