The view from the balcony was far better than the nicer more expensive aktaion beach hotel.
Hotel Kekrifalia enjoys panoramic views of the Saronic Gulf and the harbor of Agkistri, hence located on a hill right next to the sea.

The location, cleanliness and comfort. And the spectacular views!!! I loved that it had its own beach. And all the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Akrogiali offers affordable rooms on a seafront location in the village of Skala. It is close to beaches, lagoons as well as shops. Rooms are simply furnished.

The room was recently remodeled, so that was nice. But the real thing that made this such a great place was the sincere, friendly, personal service from Tina, the manager, and her daughter. We can't thank them enough for all they did for us.

10/10, 5 stars, 100%. Possibly one of the nicest places we've stayed in Greece. The rooms are both beautiful and functional (places to store your items and hang up towels etc), the bed was comfy, the breakfast was absolutely amazing and huge (we literally didn't eat lunch the days we were there), the location is perfect, the owner is such a wonderful person. I can't rate this place enough. An absolute highlight of our trip!!!

Agkistri is for the adventurous alternative travelers who value nature, tranquility and not the crowds of tourists. Here the opening times of the places keep a different pace from back when people respected themselves and their rest time.
In Skala you will find basic services and a beautiful landscape in a small size just as the island is tiny and walkable.
All the places worth a visit and it is hard to find a place with no standards.

Skala is a beautiful place and it has everything you'll ever need. Lots of restaurants, ice cream, waffle, cocktail bars, sand beaches with sun beds and umbrellas but if you don't want very crowded places you can take an umbrella on your own and enjoy the sea.

Great get-away for a few days.
Great get-away for a few days. Fantastic restaurants and welcoming locals. Beaches and water can’t be any better! Marina Beach was a favorite. Ate several meals at Moshos and loved every meal. Also dined at Toxotis which was also great. Took the City Bus to Aponisos for 2€ each way to get a better sense of the beauty of the island.

Skala is a mostly summer resort than a village.
Skala is a mostly summer resort than a village. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, port, beaches. The main "city" - Megalochori - is more authentic with pretty houses in the Greek style ( white-blue houses). Also, the main port is situated there.

Skala is beautiful with a great selection of tavernas.
Skala is beautiful with a great selection of tavernas. The sea is crystal clear and perfect for bathing. The ferry crossing is easy and dependable.
There is a danger of too many cars being allowed to spoil the island. There is no need for a car.
The hotel is near to the port of Skala, so there is no need for car. Even if you want to visit all places for swimming around the island, there is no need to bring a car. Small buses will transfer you there. Great beach for swimming exactly in front of the hotel, with extremely comfortable sunbeds and a great snack catalog. Coffee is perfect also, so please order a cold freddo and enjoy it close to the beach. Breakfast is on a buffet, with a great variety of choices for every taste.
Excellent service, communication, location and hospitality. Close to Skala's beach, restaurants, a small supermarket and everything else you need on Agistri. One harbour is less than 10 minutes and the main harbour about half an hour walking distance.
Our room had two balconies with lovely views, a kitchenette, it's own shower and toilet with towels and soap/shampoo and a comfortable bedroom with a double bed.
location of the hotel is great, 2 min walk from the port with private beach and 5 min walk to main street of Skala. rooms well equipped and nicely decorated. however we had an issue with central air conditioning the first night which eventually resulted in changing room to the new apartment but staff did their best to solve the issue.
Great value-for-money hotel/hostel. We paid 31€ for two (off season). Room itself was small and the bathroom a wet room with sloping roof. Beds very clean and comfy.
The owners have multiple hotel/hostel buildings, so perhaps this review does not apply to all rooms. The owner was very nice and we got a welcome drink on check-in.
The place is newly renovated and the host is very friendly. It is very clean. The property is beachfront, but there are no beach beds. You would have to pay for them at a nearby facility. But the location is very quiet compared to the hotels near the port of Skala. All things considered, we would still choose this place.
Hotel's location was great as it was 3 minutes walk from Skala port. The staff was very friendly, helpful as they tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was spacious with a decent balcony and a great view.
I would definitely recommend that to everyone. 😊
Juniorsuite with jacuzzi (406) was spacious and balcany was great. Jacuzzi had some problems, so sometimes it worked, sometimes didnt. It even overflowed once. Staff did what they could (Easter time). Anyway lovely hotel and lovely little Skala.
The hostess and her family were amazing! Very polite, always available to answer any question! The hotel itself is located in the centre of Skala, barely 5 feet away from the beach. I will definitely stay here again, next time I visit Agkistri.
The rooms in the hotel were very high standard and the lady who runs the Alexandra is the most amazing host, so warm and welcoming and always there to help. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be coming back very soon.
Great breakfast, wonderful hotel and amazing staff.
We asked for late checkout and after short time it was confirmed - it was very helpful because our ferry was scheduled for late afternoon.
I recommend this hotel very much
The rooms were great! The best location in the main area of Skala, right on the beach. The staff was lovely. The hotel owner was very sweet and very helpful. We had the best time, and we recommend everyone on Argo.
We spent 1 night at Dionysos hotel, the location was great, the room was very pleasant especially considering the price. Highly recommended. The lady at the checkout desk was very nice and welcoming
Very nice room with good air conditioning. Access to pool and bar area was a nice bonus. The staff were so helpful (particularly Silia) with tips for Agistri.
