Perivolos has the best beach I've seen in Santorini.
Perivolos has the best beach I've seen in Santorini. It is sandy and doesn't have any big stones on the entrance to the water. It gets very deep in the water very fast. There are many lovely bars and restaurants, and it is easy to reach either by car or by bus from Fira. Great relaxing vibe. Wonderful food & drinks at reasonable prices. Great beach which is deep as soon as you walk in. Perfect weather & water temperatures in August when we stayed there. Perivolos is a good place if you want to be close to the beach and in a quiet area. But there are not many shops around that you can walk to quickly, so a car is needed to get to bigger supermarkets and bakeries. It's possible to take the bus to Fira but can be very crowded. Other than the beach which we did not like and the restaurants right out the back of the hotel, there was nothing you can walk to. We had to take car service wherever we wanted to go. We spent a lot of money on cars.

Location is not so convinient without a car (if you would like to sightseeing a lot and spend time not only near the pool or on the beach), however it is worth to rent it for a day or three and spend holiday in Nostos. Walk to Perrisa - takes about 40 min. Walk to Vlyhada beach - 20 min. Perivolos beach - 4 min

The beautiful beach was right in front of the hotel, and they have great lounge chairs and umbrellas for the guests. Rooms were very clean and beds comfy. The best part of the Sea View is the staff. Kostas, Adonis, and George were so friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel pampered and relaxed. Fira and Oia were only a 45 min drive. Highly recommend hiking the 10km path from Fira to Oia. Views are breathtaking, and if you time it right, you can see the sunset in Oia.

The Hotel is 8 minutes walking where there is the bus stop with air conditioning that takes you to Fira for €2.60, then there you take another bus to Oia for €1.20 and from there you can go to the Airport by €1.20 ... the bus stop is called Perivolos Beach. Resort pools very good.

They even let us use the rooms some more hours the last day because out flight was in the evening and there was no reservation for that day for our room. I do recommend.
