The buildings are authentic, the sea view, the gardens, and the location all are great. Lots of nice places to eat are close, in walking distance. The staff is very helpful and so friendly. They even helped us for early check-in when we arrived early in the morning. During the stay it was silent and we had no disturbance from the room next door. The buildings has an interesting shape therefore we had only one neighbour room.

Fabulous view from room I was given at end of main hallway. Views from dining area are fabulous, as well. It felt very luxurious and relaxing, and it definitely gave it a resort feel, with the gorgeous view before you, and the setting. Food and selections/variety were good, also, and amenities were good, also. Maria at the front desk was fabulous, and the fellow who invited me in when I came to see the hotel, when I was considering moving to this hotel, was wonderful, also.

Lots of tavernas and bars both on the harbour and in the town. There are several small supermarkets which stock a big variety, but don't think Waitrose. We liked the Tropicana platanos taverna, the seahorse hotel (to eat) and the bakery. On the negative side you will leave Molivos fitter than when you arrived. The streets are VERY steep.

The authentic architecture which is a mixture of Turkish and Greek style stone houses is fascinating. Great richness. The scenery from the castle, narrow streets from down to top, restaurants serving good food and the clean sea make it worth visiting Mithimna.

Mithimna is a really picturesque place which has retained its traditional character. There are spectacular views. The castle is well worth visiting. You can enjoy walking through the narrow streets and feeling is if you are in another time and place. Even in late October it is possible to bathe and there were a few restaurants and cafes open. There are many restaurants in the small harbour serving fresh fish and seafood.
Our room was very spacious but that may not be the case for all the other rooms so better to check the room size during the reservation. We gave up sea view for this room and it was the right decision.
Because of the negative comments, I was a little suspicious about the breakfast but it is fine, actually better than most of the 3* hotels we've been. People who made negative comments about breakfsat probably expecting a 5* hotel breakfast :P
I almost don't want people to know how great this hotel is - I want to ensure it's there for me when I want to go! Just beautiful rooms overlooking the gorgeous Molyvos harbour. The owners are lovely, provided us with many recommendations and great food and wine. Price was outrageously affordable for how spacious and lovely our rooms were. It doesn't get any better than this.
The location and our room were really great, its too close to the seaside and amazing restourants. Breakfast is enough, also there are many alternatives nearby. The seaside is also too close to the hotel and there are sunbaths that you can use freely. In general I can say its a nice, comfortable hotel to stay and sure its worth your money.
Maria who is the owner the hotel is so hospitable. She welcomed us with surprises and she is so nice person like an angel. Rooms , kitchen and bath were so clean. Air conditions ,the coffee machines and all furnitures were new. The hotel and pool were beautiful views. Everything was so perfect for us.
I have forgotten my bag in the hotel restaurant which it has money, credit cards and passports and left the hotel. When I noticed I called the recelption of the hotel. They have found it and kept it at the reception and gave me when I arrived to the hotel. Thanks to the hotel stuff and the management.
Beautiful hotel located just in front of the beach with spacious rooms.
Everything was well thought of in the rooms;espresso machine, kettle, kitchenette and even an iron.
Our host was very kind and helpfull.
We will stay here every time we visit Lesvos.
In my point, certainly not a 5-star hotel or resort, as advertised. I believe that might at some point back in time had been one, but for today’s standards it by far outdated.
We were upgraded to suites which were wonderful compare to mezonette. The breakfast was good and they have a big parking area. The hotel is big and have beautiful gardens.
Hotel owner, Maria, is an incredible nice person. One can spend hours talking to her. Location of hotel is top- walking distance to see, traditional market and harbour.
Location is good although a bit isolated and far from the centre. It has access to the private beach of the hotel next to it. Nice place to spend a few days.
Location is the best thing for the hotel, too close to petra and molyvos. the view of the hotel is good too. staff is awesome everyone smlies and so kind.
