We really enjoyed our stay. Gisela is very friendly and welcoming, and Miley the dog too. Its a beautiful piece of land there, calm, a bit isolated in the greenery of the landscape. You can hear many singing birds and the sound of the sea. A very nice beach is 5min walk away.
The garden is also piecefull and the whole place has a good vibration. We even had a beautiful hike from there to a chapel on a hill, going through olive tree fields.
We rented a car (We can recoment 'automotorental' from Thessaloniki) to get there and arround. I guess some form of transport is needed to get there.
Of course it's great to have your breakfast on the balcony watching the seaview and mount Athos in the distance..
We are very thankful for our stay, for Gisela, the land, nature and the people of this land.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Agora Luxury Loft. The place is so beautiful and clean. The host is very kind and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. It is located in the main plaza where are most of the greek taverns and restaurants. The place has own private parking. After a long day at the beach you can sit on the balcany and enjoy every friday night the live music coming from the square. It's worth the money.

The village of Agios Nikolaos is a quiet, picturesque village located around a five-minute drive from the sea. What makes it an adventageous location is the fact that from it you can easily access two bays that line Sithonia on two opposite sides. When there was a strong wind coming from the east, we went to the beach in Nikiti or Kalogria where the sea was as calm as a lake. When the wind was coming from the west we went to Trani Ammouda, where the water was calm. Every Friday there is a local market in the nearby town of Nikiti, where the prices of goods ranging from fruit and vegetables and fresh fish to clothes are super cheap.

Despite the fact that the village is not located near the beaches it is in the middle between east and west leg of Sithonia where you can drive to reach very nice beaches. It is a quiet, traditional village with a big central square with nice tavernas and live Greek music twice a week (one day is Friday).

The small town of Agios Nikolaos offers a good taste of the Greek traditions. A lot of old houses, stone cut pavement on the streets, small streets, nice church and a center square full of places to eat, grab a coffee or ice cream. At the same time is quiet town and you can enjoy your time away from the big city hustle and noise. For food we went to Makis Tavern and liked the food and the service.

The house is stunning - a lovingly built structure of stone and wood that overlooks the ocean and Mount Athos. We could have sat outside staring at the view all day. The house was comfortable, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The best part of all was Seb and his family; they made us feel welcomed and like family. If we are ever so lucky to return to Halkidiki, we would most definitely return to Seb's House.

One may have a stroll around the picturesque Agios Nikolaos village on foot.
