Good overnight stop en route from Pula Airport to ferry for Cres island. Our good value room was in an old building (but modernised) a few minutes walk from the restaurant/hotel reception. Adjacent free parking. Good restaurant with good breakfast including fruit and eggs to order on a terrace overlooking the valley below (good grilled vegetables). Labin is a gem of an old town with interesting street art.

Lovely little city with many interesting stories to tell. Definitely check out the Tuesday night free tours they offer every week (in different languages). Very informative and cool! We didn't eat there, there were too many people. Do not go to the upper town/city center by car at night! Just park in the lower city and walk. Labin old town is nice for a walk, make sure you avoid the hot midday hours. Loads of restaurants and cafes around. Make sure to try Rumore, but do make a reservation if you are planning to eat during rush hour! Supermarkets and other shops, banks etc. all in the 'new' part of town.

Not a lot to the modern part but Old Labin is unique with a history and atmosphere all of its own - great, reasonably priced restaurants [including Ramore, allegedly the best pizzeria in Croetia] and spectacular views.

Locaty is great, but to go for dinner you need to drive, so no drinking for the driver. The interior decoration is not so original, very coperate. But you don’t want to spent much time inside anyway, the terrace is great, and everything is there for cooking dinner etc. Tv internet etc.

There are a more things to see Labin than other hilltop towns, take it slow and easy and enjoy the day. Taste the local drinks and food, each place to eat has a specialty. The cake in the cafe is way above average. There is a guitar player that needs someone to listen to him, consider paying him to play for a while, everyone wins!

Breakfast is good, although vegans would find it somewhat poor, since only vegan option is fruit and jam. Everything else is good and according to the price. All in all for a couple of days, good accommodation. Again hosts are very nice, which made our stay memorable.SSabirGermany

For us, the apartment was perfect, as we also rent a boat at Merlo boat and the landlord was always available for us. I case you are looking for a really comfortable and modern apartment, not being in the touristic center, but enjoying some privacy, this is perfect. The great view Is amazing.

There are many friendly cats in the neighbourhood, everybody can pet them. We walked down to Rabac, it took 1 hour, (back obviously more :) ) but it is a beautiful trip.
