The villa was wonderfully clean and well-maintained, with a nice view of the adjoining rice paddy. As a nature lover, the nocturnal wildlife was a constant source of excitement. The hosts were absolutely lovely, and a highlight of the stay.

Quaint little property, close distance to keramas and komune. The staff was super nice and i loved the rustic outdoor bathroom. The free breakfast was excellent as well. The manager of the property worked with me on my reservation changes and left a very happy customer. He was super flexible and helpful :) highly recommend this place, especially if you want some nature to walk through and hearing the sound of frogs at night vs mopeds.

for good pool, nice rooms good reasonable food yes Price for rooms too high maybe. Not much to do but relax! You are a 600.000R round trip to not much,,very littkle shopping,, Surf Classes Ihe beach is for Surfers no Picture Blue Bali Water Greybeards!
Excellent surf spot offering slightly better weather (less clouds than the other coasts in my experience). Up and coming area with lots of new developments happening. A great place to spend your money and invest away from all the chaos of Sanur etc.
Black volcanic sand beach. The famous White Sands beach a short drive away

We already miss our large private quite friendly beautiful villa at Desa Swans!! # 16 is great!! And we just left today. A home away from home with a private pool!!
We are now in a tiny beach hut with semi working air conditioning and semi poor customer service :(
I don’t know if we will return to Bali but if we do we’d love to come back to Desa Swan. We are visiting our son who is a surf coach with a month off and the surf was excellent in Keramas.

Keramas/Saba is a quiet seaside area with minimal development although this looks to be changing.
The beach is black sand and not one you would want to laze about on. There is a lot if plastic rubbish at the beach access points. It is a surf beach.
The area we stayed in, Saba, was quite isolated and you would be best to have your own transport.
Ubud and Candi Dasa are an easy drive away.

This was our first time to Keramas and we loved it.
This was our first time to Keramas and we loved it. Keramas is away from the hustle and bustle. There were local restaurants along the beachfront, food was great and very affordable. If you prefer, there are also fact hotels with beach front restaurants, just be prepared to pay a little extra. We loved the uniqueness of the volcanic sandy beaches, which weren't busy at all, and there were plenty of surf-able waves. We didn't venture from from our accomodation at the Keramas Surf Camp, so unable to review outside of the beach area.

The territory with a garden is very beautiful, like a paradise. But outside the territory there’s nothing. Free transfer to the beach which is a great option as it’s 40 min away walking, 8 min by car. / Didn’t except dollars, didn’t have a currency exchange mention on booking, internet didn’t work properly in the room, coffee machine was broken, had to wait to long for an answer, clean but a bid dusty rooms, windows impossible to open, terrible pillows, couldn’t lock the door. No one really cared about unlocked door of the room). The beach is cool for surfing, not swimming. Black sand is a very beautiful thing) sunset is great on the beach
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spacious villa, impeccable cleanliness, and attentive 24/7 customer service. The restaurant's traditional Balinese dishes were delicious, and the black sand beach was stunning. We felt secure and our families were well taken care of. The in-house SPA services were rejuvenating, and the tour packages were fantastic. The staff, facilities, food, and experiences were all phenomenal. We can't wait to return!
The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The entire property, as well as the home very clean and well kept. We loved the lay out and privacy each villa offers. Peaceful & tranquil. Keramas is just a short ride from Ubud if you want to head out for the day. The groundsman will not leave a leaf out of place for long. Staff is available 24/7 on WhatsApp and will get back to you within minutes. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff!
Uma Dewa is a lovely homely place to stay with great facilities - a pool, snooker table, shared kettle and cooking area with drinking water. If you want to get out of the busy bits of Bali this is great, or if you want to surf at Keramas. We hired a bike and everything was 40 mins or less away. You can also get Grab cars from here. Desi was very welcoming and cooked us some lovely breakfasts (which is handy because of the location).
This was an awesome villa. The views are breathtaking! It is as it appears online. The bed was not super, plush soft or anything but it was like the average bed at hotels, so don’t be alarmed by my rating of the bed. The breakfast is great. Also, you can order a floating breakfast as well. It was an awesome experience! I’ll definitely return here for my future stay in Bali.
LOCATION, LOCATION! We selected this accomodation for the direct beach access and it was truly perfect. 11 out of 10 for surf access. 11 out of 10 for the outdoor ammenities. The TWO pools were wonderful and we lived outside 99% of our stay. The view, pool variety and beautiful gardens exceeded expectations! Villa was spacious but in need of some TLC and cleanliness.
The Keramas Moonlight Villa is gorgeous! You can tell the owners John and Ratna take pride in their property.
The details of the building, the food, the staff…everything is wonderful.
You are very short walk to the beach and fun surf.
There is even a brewery right next door with delicious beer and food.
I would (and hopefully will) stay in the villa/hotel again.
This was our favourite accomodation in Bali!
The room was unbelievable!
The location to the beach was amazing! (If your partner surfs then this is for him!!)
They are planning to pop a rooftop area for yoga ect which will be perfect! I’ll definitely go back when that it there!!
Would definitely stay again.
Thank you for having us! X
The hotel landscape's good; close to the sea water sports of Blue Lagoon (31 minutes by car driving); Ubud (1 hour 30 minutes). The hotel surrounding is greeny with paddy field, and we can feel and hear the sound of ocean waves from the room.
The hotel has two swimming pools with warm water, good to relaxation.
Our stay was amazing! I'd definitely come back in future trips to Bali!
The resort facilities are just the best to really immerse in the Balinese relaxing vibes (garden & pool were wonderful!) and the bar was very convenient for last minute dinner with the family! The staff was very kind and supportive too!
Wonderful cabin with beautiful view over the rice paddies and fantastic black sand beach to walk along, or to surf if you're a pro, or to watch the pro surfers. Cool design of the cabin with concrete and wood. It's a low key simple place with all you need, very quiet too
this was great for my kid, with animals to look at while lying in bed. there were giraffe, rhinos, zebras, elephants just outside of the room. absolutely lovely. they included tickets to the bali safari and the water park!
My husband and I were very impressed with the hospitality. Their price is cheaper than other villas around there. I love the room design, it’s traditional and the huge bathroom is fabulous! The view is nice from 2nd floor.
A wonderful place to stay away from the busyness of Bali. A great menu couldn’t fault the food and we ate in the dining room many times.
All staff were kind and helpful! Loved the showers and rooms too.
Big room. There is Bali Safari not far from the hotel. The staff serve well. Big swimming pool. There is a beach near the hotel. The hotel's restaurant cooks well. A very good place for beach rest.
The hotel itself is an architectural marvel in colonial style, one of a kind for Bali, the swimming pool is very long, probably about 50m. Great ocean view. Excellent and supportive staff. .
Simple, cute, old school traditional Bali huts in a great location with beautiful views of the rice paddy fields. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!
