Wicklow is a historic town and still an operating harbour, in the vicinity of the Wicklow mountains. There's plenty of interest in the town, including the harbour area including the Black Tower, and the Old Gaol museum. There's pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes - I ate at the Blue seafood restaurant on the quay and it was excellent. For lighter meals there are cafes, coffee-houses and bakery tea rooms to from hipster to traditional. I busy, fun town.

The view of the Wicklow Mountains, while immersed in nature, an expansive property complete with Llamas, yoga studio, gardens and a peaceful ambiance throughout the building helped me relax after a very long journey. If you're looking for a more holistic get-away this would be the place to go.

    Truly the garden of Ireland.

Truly the garden of Ireland. So much to see and do that I would have needed AT LEAST a week to have seen everything I was interested in. Beautifully kept villages that were spotless and bustling with people. Local people extremely friendly. Can't wait to come back! I can really recommend a cafe 'Turquoise' for veggie or vegans. The amount of options there was amazing and the food was some of the best I've ever eaten. Along with 'The Happy Pear' in Greystones. You def need a car to get around and I can recommend stopping at Victors Way for a bit of a different experience with lots of unique statues.

The lodge is in a fabulous location, so close to beautiful walks and a very easy drive from Dublin Airport. Our room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely balcony off our room with the most amazing view over the Wicklow Mountains. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with information about local attractions. We are only sorry we had one night because we could really have stayed much longer.

The core sell with the health farm was around relaxation, tranquillity, good food, lovely walks in a very scenic location backed up by a 38 acre farm and swimming pools, spa's etc., all of these things came to be and made this an excellent weekend for my wife and myself which was fantastic and needed so I would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and colleagues

Matt & Rita were simply the hosts of our dreams. Their space was cozy and comfortable and in a great location, and Molly & Louie (their adorable dogs) were splendid company as well. Matt was as knowledgeable and friendly as he was generous - with coffee and story. 10/10 would recommend and book again in a heartbeat.
