We were able to check in 1 hour early, which was greatly appreciated after a long car journey. We were allocated a large, comfortable room with fanstastic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The tables in the restaurant were formally arranged, with crisp white linen table cloths. Good selection on the menu for both breakfast and dinner. The restaurant had great views of the ocean.
There was a nice bar in the hoteal, with a large beer garden.
Excellent location - close to Donegal town and other local attractions, easy acess to the beach and within walking distance of the Smugglers Creek Inn.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
The hotel had a nice 'traditional' feel to it, with a personal touch from staff, not like the impersonal service experienced in many corporate run hotels.
The Gaslight Inn Holiday Apartments & Licenced Restaurant Rossnowlagh sits on the cliff face overlooking Rossnowlagh’s white sandy Blue Flag Beach on Donegal Bay.

The host was very responsive and went far and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The lodge is very spacious. If something doesn't work, communicate with the host and they'll fix it. You can also book a visit to their farm animals but we didn't have time to do it. The lodge is conveniently located close to the Wild Atlantic Way.

Beautiful views! We watched dolphins playing from our window the first night! The staff is wonderful and the breakfast was so good. Highly recommend!
Located in the center of Bundoran, the Bank House Guest house offers rooms with attached bathroom. The house offers an on-site bar, and is just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach.

The location is outstanding, near to the beach, places to dine. We stayed for four night as we had been invited to a family gathering. The accommodation was situation, in a quiet locate, but near activities. We ate at nearby Smugglers Creek and the Gaslight. Perfect meals with outside seating.

If you are driving and staying outside of Rossnowlagh then you obviously won’t have a drink. My advice to those that wish to go into the resort is that taxis are good BUT…BEWARE… It will be almost impossible to get a taxi on a Sunday night. We got caught out and only the kind offer of a lift by the barman in the Smugglers Creek in to drive us back to our accommodation saved the day. Otherwise we would have been stranded.

The community is very welcoming to anybody and everybody. Being from the countryside they still have that sense of community bonding Ireland’s known for. The sights are as beautiful as the people and I’d recommend anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to head up there

Surfers paradise! Great location to tour Donegal.
Surfers paradise! Great location to tour Donegal. People are very friendly. Stayed in The Bee Pods which were ideal - pet free, child free and overlooking the beach. To wake up to the sound of the sea was a dream.
The Smuggler's Inn was a lovely restaurant also overlooking Rossnowlagh beach and a visit to Slieve League Cliffs is worth the climb to see the views of Donegal.

Ok, the driving is scary if you're not used to driving on the left along narrow, windy roads-- but apart from that, you will not find a more beautiful setting, especially is you prefer cool weather. Mountains, ocean, lakes, gorgeous rural landscape. I was, unfortunately, unable to get around due to a leg injury early on the trip, but sitting by the ocean at the Sandhouse Hotel was enough for me. Next time, I hope to visit the nearby Islands and the Gaeltacht (Irish speaking areas), and to stay there long enough to hear traditional music. Our 2 1/2 days was not nearly enough time! ps I'm not a swimmer or surfer, but these are very popular activities here.
Really enjoyed our stay. The view from our pod was amazing. The extras left in the pod like milk, orange juice, bread, snacks, etc were a lovely touch and much appreciated. The pod had all we needed- kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, TV. The pressure in the shower was fantastic. Communication with the host was easy. The location was great. Near to the incredible Rossnowlagh beach, and a great base for seeing Sligo and Donegal. Would highly recommend staying here.
A lovely hotel, spotless clean throughout, the staff were exceptional and the food was top class. Surprisingly spacious bedroom. We had a spectacular view of the sea, probably the highlight of the trip was our view of the storm outside while we were warm and cosy inside. Refreshing that the staff were plentiful and happy to be there. Would highly recommend the Sandhouse for a couples weekend away.
Jonathan’s B&B was the perfect place to stay and explore Donegal.
The place was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and had lots of options. We were 10minutes from Donegal town and the view from the house was lovely.
Jonathan was extremely friendly and helpful. Went so far as to offer us a lift to Donegal to collect our car.
Would definitely go back, and very much recommend!
Atlantic Breeze B&B was simply flawless. The facilities are perfect, spotlessly clean, and Betty is the most warm and welcoming host. The breakfast was without question the best breakfast I have experienced in a B&B or hotel. Cooked to perfection, with fresh, high quality ingredients. We will definitely return again!
Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The Bee Pods were spacious enough for two people, comfortable, relaxing and very private. The seaweed baths were beautiful and the view over Rossnowlagh beach was stunning. The breakfast basket and dessert were a lovely touch and delicious!
Salt house is Rossnowlagh’s best kept secret.
We can’t wait to return. This home is an architectural gem with views that take your breath away and beautiful interiors which have been keenly selected to pick up the soft coastal tones of the local area. Just heaven!
The view is incredible, the beach is exceptional. The system for going in and out was absolutely ridiculous. You had to buzz into the office and announce yourself every time. The breakfast was fresh and excellent, the wait staff were very friendly, and quick.
It is quiet, it has everything you need, great view, great host. Jonathan was so nice with us, he provided some welcoming goods to make our stay better. He provided tips for food around and other things to do in Donegal. Definitely will stay here again
Lovely location, nice and quiet, hosts very good and checked in with us before, during and at end of our stay. Beds were very comfortable. House lovely and warm. Recommendations for food at Smugglers Creek Inn and Creevy Pier Hotel were very good.
stunning location we had a room with sea view & that really made our trip special, bedroom was decent size & staff were lovely, hotel is right on the beach so we could hear the sea in bed -beds were really comfy - we slept incredibly well, perfect
We really enjoyed the beautiful countryside scenery, interacting with the farm animals and relaxing. It was a perfect location to easily travel between Rossnowlagh and Tullan beach, Bundoran.
Jonathon was so lovely. B and b only 15 mins from Donegal town and 3 min drive to rossnowlagh beach which you can drive onto it's that nice. Lovely place and will definitely be back.
