The staff are amazing! I can't fault any of them. In particular Aoife on the front desk. Beds are very comfortable, and amongst my friends we had 4 very different rooms and I'd have been happy to have stayed in any of them. Food & drinks in the main hotel bar are excellent. In hindsight we would have only eaten there for the few days. Pools & spas are great and very quiet mid week.

Arkow had enough things to do.

Arkow had enough things to do. My son went to the leisure complex cinema etc. Moneylands is central with easy access to all surrounding towns and villages etc. Perfect location. About a 20 minute drive was wicklow jail....brilliant time and our 2nd visit but the VR experience there is a must. 30 to 40 minutes drive to wexford town and its lovely. Water front and harbour. Lots of shops and nick nack shops. Lovely day out. Weather is a game changer if its good weather. Glen deloch is a good place to visit if the weather is good. We ate in gorey and the broken chair at moneylands farm.....perfect breakfast. We also made breakfast in our accommodation. Great facilities. There's nothing I'd avoid on my next visit. I can't wait to go back.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Where we ate. Arklow itself was easy to navigate. We went on a trip into the surrounding countryside and found some spectacularly beautiful valleys. The beach we visited was undeveloped and the scenery fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay, and would return in a heartbeat.

This is a lovely place in a beautiful location and the external appearance of the pod belied the modern interior. However the Pod designed by a tall man- everything was difficult or impossible to reach, including the bed! The additional of a small step ladder or steps of some some kind would help.

I am Irish..but had never been to Arklow before.

I am Irish..but had never been to Arklow before. A lovely little coastal town with a proud industrial heritage. Like many Irish towns , it has suffered economically…with plenty of vacant shops etc. Hopefully, the facility to work from home will mean that the town becomes less of a commuter satellite town and more the vibrant community that it can and should be. Beautiful location…between the mountains and the sea. Very close to the amazing beach at Brittas Bay. To crown it all, during our stay, the Sunny South East lived up to its name. I would be happy to revisit!

As soon as we arrived liz the receptionist made us feel so welcome. We decided to have some lunch and a cheeky drink . According to my husband the Guinness was ‘ grand ‘ . The room was beautiful, clean with a balcony. The view was breathtaking! The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated. Loads of hot water and towels . We booked dinner and both had the hake , so fresh . Our waitress Marsha was friendly and attentive. There was live music which was pretty good . We slept great , no noise . Breakfast was buffet style, with a choice on the menu too. We had the full Irish and walked the beautiful park nearby . Highly recommend!

The scenery is fantastic. Set in the Wicklow foothills, it is serene and a nice break from the rush of the towns and cities. We were in the lodge which was nothing fancy but quite serviceable. The breakfast buffet (hot and cold) was tasty and served in the main hotel across the road. The main hotel is beautiful. But the best part of our 2 day stay was our breakfast hostess, Sylvia. She was friendly and helpful and went the extra mile giving us directions to Glendalough. What a great ambassador for the hotel and area.

Have stayed here a few times when travelling , very nice place, doesn’t feel like a “lodge or hotel” very homey rooms, bathroom is a good size too, services on phone are very bad little to no signal and depending on how many guests if only a few WiFi is okay if full building the WiFi is terrible, smart tv in some rooms not all, no shops around but you’re less than 10 minutes from arklow town, beautiful scenery, definitely a place to continue staying :)

Honestly before staying there I would not think you can turn a small hut/container like this into a great hotel experience. Each of the huts is free standing, so the sounds from other guests are minimal. The hut has a nice deck with a sea view and access to green area, big bed, a mini kitchen and a nice bathroom with big shower. I can recommend it for someone who likes to be in nature and at the same time having all the necessary amenities available.

These apartments were fantastic, all facilities included in these appartments, five minutes drive from Arklow, not far from all the top locations, tennis court with free rackets which the children enjoyed every evening, a fantatic Cafe on site that also had a takeaway hut. Great seating indoor and outdoor. Also a fitness class Tuesday and Thursday evening. And the host was just fantastic, we will be back. Just a super place.

Staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived. They even offered to do some ironing while they cleaned our apartment. It was nice and quiet throughout the day and evening. We left Early in the morning and the locked gates were opened for us. This was a lot earlier than usual. It was a lovely place to stay and there were nice views of the Arklow coast. Will definitely go again and recommend to.other travellers.

This was our first stop on a 20-day trip. Wanted a location close to the ocean in a town with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Staff was friendly and a good breakfast buffet. We were traveling along the southern cost around to Galway. Arklow is nice and is a good base to go out and explore the area. Took a day trip to the fabric mill in nearby Avoca. Great historical place. It's been around since 1723.

Fantastic location, convenient distance from Arklow as well as freeway access. The clothes washer in the kitchen was a huge convenience for a long trip. The grounds are beautiful, and the restaurant on the property is delicious. Everyone was friendly and accomodating. You won't find a better value for a family vacation.

Friendliness of the hostess first with a welcoming smile, followed by the amazing view as you wake up in the morning. We have toured Ireland for a week and a half staying in hotels and B&B’s, and this by far blows everything out of the water. It won’t disappoint!!
