Drogheda is much bigger than I expected.
Drogheda is much bigger than I expected. It’s very spread out and was quite congested with traffic when I was there so maybe a little difficult for driving if unfamiliar with the area. It is a very old town with lots of history and old buildings and has short distances to nearby beauty spots. Booking & check in were easy & efficient. The room & breakfast were excellent, Hotel nicely situated & grounds very pleasant. Greeted by very professional staff who explained how their keyless system worked. Ate dinner on site, and that too was great. Very friendly and welcoming staff throughout. Room was great, en suite with 6 beds! 3 x bunk style but very comfortable indeed. Only 2 of us and we both slept soundly - no noise.
