Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College houses the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

A great city for culture and history. Sounded as though the night life was lively as well. Good public transport.
Worth our while getting the unlimited 3 day “Leap” card for bus, tram (“Luas”), and city and suburbs train (“Dart”). Card also available for one and seven days.

We did two tours during our stay.
We did two tours during our stay. One to Wicklow, Glendalough, and Kilkenny, and the other to Belfast, Dunluce Castle and The Giant's Causeway. Loved them both, and also went through St. Patrick's Cathedral.
We ate two nights in the bar at the Hyatt Centric, another meal at the Merchant's Arch.

Dublin is filthy. There is litter everywhere.
Dublin is filthy. There is litter everywhere. The city council insists on pedestrianising streets and then doesn’t clean them, empty the bins or prosecute people who litter or dump household rubbish. The commercialisation of the waste collection, especially from commercial premises is adding to the the problem of “Dirty Dublin”.

I have visited Dublin City many times and even in O'Connell...
I have visited Dublin City many times and even in O'Connell Street I am always aware of what is going on around me. I must say that even during the day I am a little more apprehensive than I was when working and living there 25 years , when I walk the streets. I was also conscious of the lack of Gardai on the streets, even O'Connell Street where I did notice some anti-social behaviour.
Easy access to other side of river. Your service manager, Gabriel, was a gem. Sharp fellow. I needed a plug in charging unit to accommodate my US devices and where I had previously stayed in SW Ireland, both hotels and supplied same. Gabriel overheard my conversation w one of your desk staff, saw I was mildly annoyed, came up and offered help, to wit: he offered me the use of HIS charger plug in during the duration of my trip. That was gracious and he clearly was a very customer oriented manager. That was extremely appreciated.
This was one of the few hotels in Ireland where we had a King size bed - such a treat! And AC that actually made the room cool enough for us to sleep comfortably. We were a little nervous being so close to the city center and seeing ear plugs in the bathroom, but we both slept quite well - no loud noises waking us up and no need for the ear plugs. We had to leave early for the airport in the morning and I went down to get tea and coffee to go. The staff was extremely helpful and didn't charge us for it.
Location was perfect for city centre. Room was a good size, lovely and clean. House maids and all staff very friendly. I come to Ireland on a regular basis to meet family. I will definitely be staying here again. I stayed in a triple room with friends. They loved it too. My elderly parents also stayed in the hotel. They were very happy with the location and the facilities. I left some clothing behind. The hotel rang me and have kindly put them in the post.
We ended up staying for over a week due to a family member being hospitalized. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. The value for staying a full week was very reasonable for Dublin City centre.. breakfast was first class and great variety.. even though we didn't avail of it it was great to have the option of music ever night..
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone that may be needing accommodation near the mater or even a long weekend in Dublin
The advertising of this facility was misleading. I would have never paid €325 for a room with a bed, two chairs, no towels and shared toilets and shower. The locks did not work on toilets or bedroom in doors, owner had to work on my bedroom door to make it work properly.
Any attempt to find another place was impossible due to France/Ireland Rugby Match that night. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL, it is what I would consider a Hostel, with a private room.
Beautiful old Georgian hotel within walking distance of Dublin city centre, Temple Bar, and Connolly Train station. Very welcoming helpful staff, comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfast, and good Castle Vaults restaurant on the lower ground floor (we dined there on the first night). Exceptional staff service. If you’re wanting to stay in elegant historic hotel with original features, the Castle Hotel is very good choice for a city break.
This hotel was AMAZING! It was so quiet, clean, and comfortable and close to everything. Our bags were lost coming into Ireland and we were so lucky that this hotel was so close to shopping.! The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. As someone who has traveled a lot within Ireland and the UK, I cannot reccommend this place enough. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
Clink i Làr is one of best hostel in Dublin Ireland, very clean place, beautiful rooms, wonderful staff, the place is truly "Home away from home"
I recommend clink i làr to everyone in Dublin and anyone who may be planning to visit Dublin at anytime soon.
But note that, you must keep up doing good so that you don't stay on the glory of yesterday.
I love you all.

Everything was excellent. The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was hearty and very tasty. The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood of Dublin. The city centre is easily accessible by public transport, but if you feel like walking it won't take more than half an hour to get to the heart of the Irish capital. I highly recommend it.
The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The facilities were excellent and a good size TV. The location was excellent with shops and cafes around and the city centre within easy reach. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The price was reasonable for a fairly central hotel in Dublin.
Location is excellent close to city centre. Staff parked our car in their own secure parking lot... concierge so helpful as we're all staff from start of our stay. Bar food and service is excellent and very friendly staff. Breakfast choice is amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will revisit it again when in Dublin.
New Hotel. Nice decor and comfortable and quiet rooms. Access to tram service is immediately outside of hotel and takes you anywhere in the city easily. Quick access via tram to and from the Heuston train station makes it a great location if you are coming or going to Southern Ireland via train and need a hotel in Dublin.
The room was nice and well appointed. There was lots of space to lay our stuff out. Hotel location was good for what we wanted to do (get to Spencer Dock for hiring a car). We got to see a different side of Dublin (a bit outside the city centre proper).
Clean modern hotel at an affordable price in Dublin City centre, just steps away from the red Luas line. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful. Stylish hotel which is good value. A rare gem. Will definitely be back.
The breakfast was one of the best I have received in any hotel in Ireland. Just brilliant and generous. Also the staff, through the entire hotel, could not have been friendlier. Really enjoyed my stay.
