Disappointing Experience with Poor Service I had high expectations for this restaurant, given its premium pricing, but unfortunately, the service fell far short. We ordered a bottle of red wine, and after the first serving, the waiter placed the bottle on the service table. To our surprise, someone from the staff (possibly a waiter captain) took the bottle without asking and served a glass to another table. When we brought this issue to another waiter’s attention, the individual responsible did not even bother to apologize. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in a restaurant that charges premium prices. Service and etiquette are integral to the dining experience, and this incident left us extremely disappointed. I expected far better from a place that markets itself as a premium establishment. I hope the management takes feedback seriously and works on improving their service standards.

They didn't have available, which was mentioned on their menu.. and plus we couldn't order food from outside because of their policy.. they called and asked 50% of the payment before the stay despite of it being mentioned on booking.com site.. that we could pay it on arrival.. the hotel isn't centrally located.. and it wasn't a pleasant stay .

    Good place, civic authorities has done a good job and tourist Infra is good. Check the property before going there. They could be overpriced skip food at the hotel restaurant they are overpriced and very bad.

    Sadly Daman has lost its charm due to the unplanned...

    Sadly Daman has lost its charm due to the unplanned construction and poor maintenance of infrastructure. On a more better note, the roads were relatively clean which made walking around a more better experience. Most of Daman feels like it could be any messy city. While the forts do retain some of their historic feel, is seems like an hour or two is enough take in the sights (which doesn't seem to be enough t warrant a visit).

    There is very little to see or do around Daman.

    There is very little to see or do around Daman. The local authorities should develop more historic or cultural activities around the place for tourists. We were interested in trying local food but no one knew about the specialities in Daman cuisine. All in all a boring place with no natural beauty to captivate tourists.

    Jampore Beach was excellent, clean, and very peaceful in our late morning visit. We did not stay long, but were impressed by the peaceful setting as we drove along the beach lined by palms. Some of this area is still under restoration, but not a problem. Would like to return and spend more time visiting in the future. We simply enjoyed skipping stones in the gentle surf and getting our feet wet.

    I think Daman is a great place for a weekend getaway...

    I think Daman is a great place for a weekend getaway especially from Mumbai. The drive is not too long just about 3 - 4 hrs depending on if you make a pit stop for food inbetween. There are several eateries serving amazing Gujarati food on this route. Daman has amazing beaches - one sand beach and one rock beach, both very different but provide amazing views at Sunset. There is not much to do outside of the beaches or the resort/hotel you are staying at. So a weekend trip is perfect but longer than that and you could get bored. Additionally, fuel up when you are in Daman. It's a Union Territory and the petrol/diesel is a lot cheaper :) Avoid local bars/thekas or pubs - since Gujarat is a dry state several people cross the border to come here to drink and it can get quite shady at such shops. Don't wander around too late at night in the evening as well try to be back in your hotel by 7.30/8pm at the latest.

    We ware their for 2 days, we have booked 5 days before travelling. We reached in hotel at 11pm initialy hotel declined our stay after talking with them for 30 min showing booking ID they have given rooms. Facilities - TV was not working, floor tiles was loos and can here sound whenever walked. Bathroom was cleaned however all garbage was in bin only. Break fast - was very boaring, all things are without salt, poor management in restaurant, tea coffee was always get finished but who cares. All together not a plesent stay.
