"Agra, with its Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, is a captivating blend of history and beauty. Crowded streets and vendors can be a hassle, but seeing the Taj at sunrise is worth it. It's a city of awe and chaos, perfect for history lovers and romantics."

Agra, the epitome of beauty and grandeur, encapsulates...
Agra, the epitome of beauty and grandeur, encapsulates centuries of history within its walls, and at its heart lies the breathtaking wonder, the Taj Mahal. My recent visit to this iconic city left me in awe of its unparalleled splendor and historical significance.
The Taj Mahal, a masterpiece of Mughal architecture, stands as a testament to love and devotion, its white marble facade glowing ethereally in the sunlight. As I wandered through its meticulously crafted gardens and gazed upon its majestic domes and minarets, I was overwhelmed by a sense of wonder and reverence.
But Agra's beauty extends far beyond the Taj Mahal. The Agra Fort, with its imposing red walls and intricate design, offers a glimpse into India's rich heritage and storied past. Exploring its labyrinthine corridors and opulent palaces was like stepping back in time, each stone whispering tales of emperors and empires.
And then there are the vibrant markets and bustling streets of Agra, where the city's vibrant culture comes to life. From the colorful bazaars filled with handicrafts and souvenirs to the aromatic food stalls serving up mouthwatering delicacies, every corner of Agra is a feast for the senses.
But perhaps what struck me most about Agra was the warmth and hospitality of its people. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with smiles and kindness, making me feel welcome and at home in this enchanting city.
In conclusion, Agra is not just a destination; it's an experience that leaves an indelible mark on the soul. Whether you're a history buff, a culture enthusiast, or simply someone in search of beauty and inspiration, Agra has something to offer everyone. I cannot recommend it highly enough – a true gem of India that deserves to be explored and celebrated.

It is very sad that such a beautiful and historic place is in such a bad condition. Dirty and stinking everywhere. People are not welcoming, everyone is dying to steal you, cheat you, fool you and take money out of you. No one cares about hospitality. I feel sorry for Taj Mahal and other beautiful historic building that they are in wrong hands.

With only one day available on a busy itinerary it had to be the Taj Mahal. Get up early and have a snack, then get to the ticket office for 6.15. (Gates open at 6.30) - at least they did in February.
If we'd had a bit more time, then Agra fort would have been worth a visit.
One place to relax is a small rooftop bar called Treat up the steepest, narrowest staircase ever. Great to watch the world go by with a cold beer and a wide selection of reasonably priced food.

The three classic monuments in and around Agra all lived up to expectations. Despite the fact that Taj Mahal is so well known from pictures, visiting it at sunrise still made an enormous impact. The Red Fort in Agra is also impressive, though it is by no means the only fort from that period in the area. Fatehpur Sikri (about an hour away from Agra) is definitely worth a visit, perhaps because it was conceived as a city and not just as a fort.
This was hands down the best hotel stay I've ever had, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Agra! Despite the price, it's worth every penny. Celebrating our anniversary, the staff went above and beyond, upgrading and decorating our room, surprising us with a cake in our room and at dinner. The pool area is stunning, and the spa experience was remarkable, topped off with an amazing private yoga session. They even arranged a guide to tour the Agra Fort and Taj Mahal.
Neat and clean rooms, courteous and helping staff, especially to mention Shree Ghanshyam the official Driver of the Hotel, My wife and I were travelling from Dharamshala to Nagpur by car and Agra was a transit halt, just at the gate of the hotel one tyre got punctured and reception/security guards all attended to the problem immediately and this volunteered and arranged the puncture repair, ambience is very good , location also very good. worth staying
Both the hotel and the restaurant were really great. The staff gave excellent information and advice. The room was really comfortable. The upstairs restaurant served great food at good prices. It also had a really nice view of rooftops and the Taj Mahal :) I could walk to the Taj Mahal easily. There were also well-priced tuk-tuk transports right outside to get to attactions further away in Agra.
- walking distance to Taj Mahal
- the staff was super helpful to recommend us a TukTuk driver for the day and arrange a transfer between Agra and Jaipur. Both options very recommended.
- beautiful decoration of the hotel (paintings of local culture and religion, attention to details)
- lovely breakfast setting and lots of options to choose from
From my perspective this is the best hotel in Agra taking in consideration also the price. Oberoi might be better, but it is ridiculously overpriced. Restaurants and food in general is simply great and overal atmosphere in this hotel is very pleasant.
We have been here already twice and it will be choice no. 1 also in future.
Really good location near to the Taj. The room and outdoor space is really nice to chill out.
Lovely courtyard with lots of plants the breakfast outside was great and amazing view of the Taj from the roof top was an added bonus.
The hotel team helped with Taj & Agra fort tour guide as well as local train booking.
The staff are great. The owner is very concerned for his guests, very helpful and has a great vision of what the hotel will become. If we go back to Agra we will stay there again.
The peaceful courtyard has massive potential to become a really nice place to unwind at the end of the day or just meet the morning.
The location of this property is exactly as advertised. It is a 100 meter stroll to the admission gate of the Taj. From their, a couple of kilometers through a near-deserted park put us across the street from Agra Fort.
Additionally, the property is clean and well-maintained, a lovely Indian boutique hotel.
The best budget hotel near Taj Mahal.
Clean and tidy rooms, geyser facility available, walking distance from tajmahal.
Lucky is a very wonderful host, very friendly and always ready to help.
Highly recommended for business trip, family trip, leisure trip or solo trip
Our stay at Da Bungalow was excellent and the hotel itself is a little oasis away from the general chaos of Agra. Having a swimming pool was great (our son loved it) and the staff, including the owner, were very helpful and friendly.
This is definitely the hotel you want to book when you visit the Taj Mahal. Exemplary service and hospitality. The food was outstanding too. If I’m ever back in Agra, I would definitely stay here again.
Staff is super nice and very helpful, they help us to get a taxi very early in the morning. The hotel is close to Taj Mahal and Agra fort.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Highly recommend Goyal Hoteliers to anyone visiting Agra! Their commitment to safety is commendable, and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.
