The owner greeted me as soon as I got out of my car. She showed me around the building I would be staying in, which was lovely. Everything was so clean, the views were amazing, the showers were great. They have horses and sheep on property, which are fun to visit in the barn. Like 5 minutes to geyser. This was my favorite property I stayed at during my trip. I would stay here again!

the room was quiet and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and found both to be extremely good. Lots of healthy choices. The ice cream shop afterwards was a nice bonus and having dinner overlooking the cows was lovely!

The hotel staff was very friendly. There was a delicious and simple dinner offered in the onsite restaurant. Breakfast was very good, a typical Icelandic/ Scandinavian meal. Our room was roomy and comfortable. The Hotel was quiet and relaxing with seating in the lobby area and a sitting area where we could read or visit with other guest. This was a perfect location for us to stop on our drive around Iceland.

The yurt is incredibly warm, spacious, and comfortable. There is a toilet and sink in the room. It was nice the breakfast is included especially for a reasonably priced hotel (for Iceland standards.) Because it is a boutique location there were limited amounts of other guests which made our stay very peaceful. We went out at night to admire the stars and even caught an aurora. Staff are very kind. Location prime between Geysir and Gulfoss.

It was very spacious and furnished beautifully, functional and it was very clean. The weather was very cold and windy but inside it was very cozy due to the heated floors! It’s very close to the Geysir area so this worked out well for us. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Lots of choices in the breakfast yurt. We could not have ask for anything more. Highly recommend this different ‘hotel’ stay!!!

The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast at the neighboring Geysir hotel is lovely. (As it should be considering that the geyser hotel is almost 8 times the price of the Litl Geysir hotel). It really is fabulous in terms of a destination hotel. Great architecture and a wonderful place to recoup. Location wise, couldn't be better - across the road is Geysir and a 5 min drive up the road to Gulfoss (or take the bus). Best burger I have ever eaten and the cocktails are worth a sample.
