Everything was great, thank you for having us! :) The accommodation itself and the communication of owner Lara was the best experience which we had in Iceland! Cottages are new (or at least they look like it), all of them are having parking sports, everything what you need for comfortable stay. It's little bit expensive (at least for us was), but worth every penny :) The cleanest accommodation probably which I ever saw :D self check-in, great location, quite place, just awesome

We loved Vik, surrounded by mountains, right near the beach/ocean, amazing views, easy walk to the church overlooking the town and the Vik Black Sand Beach and easy drive to fantastic hikes. must see locations - - Skogafoss, Dyrholaey Lighthouse and puffins, Reynisfjara Beach. We ate at the Smidgian Brugghus, Black Lava Cafe, Strondin Pub, Soup Company. We tried to get into Black Crust Pizza and the Crepe place but lines were long, probably worth the wait if you have the time.

Vík is such a convenient base and transit stop for exploring many of Iceland’s great sights. It’s not just an essential stop along the way—it also has some surprisingly good places to eat. Because of the number of visitors passing through, the wait times at popular restaurants can be quite long, but honestly, that gave us a much-needed chance to slow down, relax, and take a break from a busy day of sightseeing.

The black sand beaches and horses and lava show and puffins and glacier walk make this a must-see place! It's much colder and windier than the rest of the south, but if you're ready, then great! Good hot chocolate and coffee and shopping, and a nice soup restaurant near the lava show. Puffins were a definite highlight. Need a car to access everything except nearby beach and market.

Getting around Vik is very easy - on foot or by car. Our favorite was the Lava Show!!! What an awesome experience! One for all ages! Thoroughly enjoyed the Soup Co. afterwards (in the same building) the Lamb Soup was delicious!!!

The staff here were extremely professional, polite and helpful. The hotel itself was lovely and modern, clean and rooms were fairly spacious (by Iceland standards) - the beds were VERY comfortable! There was free car parking on site which was very useful, and the inclusive breakfast was great. There were also several nice food venues within a stones throw of the hotel. All in all, a fantastic hotel for the price, and ideally situated for Katla Ice cave tours, visits to the black beach and more. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were modern, perfectly sized, well-designed, and well soundproofed. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The location was ideal—close to Vík but far enough to avoid light pollution, which allowed us to see the Northern Lights. The staff was incredibly friendly and even gave us advice on the best spots to watch the auroras. And the breakfast? Simply one of the best we had in Iceland.

One of the cutest places we have ever stayed. The host treated us like family members. The house itself is located near the most famous beach of the Iceland, you can get there by foot. And after driving 2 hours around the Vik to see the Northern lights,we saw them in front of the house, when we came back.

I think, what i like about this place is the location, near to vik and the black sand beach. So easy to check in and unlike most of stay in Iceland, this one will do room cleaning even though i feel the vibe like an airbnb.

The room was new, cosy, warm and spacious. There were also shared spaces such as a large living room. The location is really nice if you are travelling in South Iceland and you need a place to sleep near Vík. Recommended.
