This guesthouse was exceptional. The host made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. My room and the common areas were very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and included lots of fresh and delicious options.

The location was beautiful. Incredible. Breakfast was delicious and Haddi was our host… he was very friendly, very very helpful ! This was our first destination when landing in Iceland and we definitely hit some *rough patches* on our way there. Haddi was very hospitable and not only did he feed us every morning, he helped us figure out where we were heading and offered to navigate us from the snow covered road. He made the first few days of our Icelandic adventure exceptional !

The guesthouse is wonderful, we really loved it.
The guesthouse is wonderful, we really loved it. Very cosy and clean room, nice beds, great shower. Microwave, tea facilities, bathrobes for the hot tub. The cute horses on the land. The wonderful hot tub, sitting there at night under the stars waiting for the Northern Light was a magical experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good and the staff was so nice to us. We are vegetarian and they made scrambled eggs especially for us without bacon, thank you so much! We regretted having to leave, but when we are in the area again we will definitely come back!

The hosts are incredible and are willing to assist you in any way possible. Breakfast is to die for, with many of the items being homemade. The location is great and our room was spacious and immaculately clean. You can also see their animals (horses, sheep, chicken, dogs and goats)! Truly a remarkable experience. We miss the farm already! :)

Good location if you don't want the midgets of Myvatn. It is about half an hour drive to the westside of de lake. Tip: walk to the small lovely church around the corner. It is mostly open, at least when we were there. If you walk further down the road you will see two waterfalls (you can't visit them). But be aware of the birds (a stick helps to protect you from attacks from the birds).
