It was my first time on this side of sicily Angela the owner helped me a lot. She gave me directions and where to go. Angela she is a very nice person and she helps you a lot for sure i will visit B&B La Veranda more times.Good parking facilities. We arrived late at night and it wasn't a problem at all we advised the owner Angela and she was waiting for us. The rooms were super clean the area is so much quite that you can hear the waves of the sea. We had a nice view from our room balcony facing the sea.

Licata is not a 'pretty' town but it is an old town full of narrow streets and with a flavour of old Sicily. There is an abundanceof restaurants and cafes well frequented by local folk and not expensive. There is also a nice, modern marina in Licata which is open for townsfolk to visit and walk around plus tthere are cafes and restaurants alongside which can be very popular and busy in the warmer months. Thee is a rail and bus station in the centre of town which can take you to most places around sicily but please note there are no taxis close to the station so if you arrive late at night in the dark with suitcase and far from your accommodation...be prepared for a long walk with google!

Licata has little to offer apart from a short visit to its museum. Streets are dingy and the road surfaces rutted. Driving required avoiding potholes. The surrounding area is hectares of plastic covered greenhouses. Mounds of flytipping further distracted from the environment.

A town with little to offer the moving tourist other than at least one nice, relatively secluded beach (for you to find on your own). We did eat at a restaurant located near the top of the hill that faces the ocean with a panoramic view...though we sent back the fish dish as it was overcooked and tough...bummer since the sauce was very nice. There are a number of private residences perched on the hill with ocean views and we saw some on Booking.com for over 1,000USD a night. But, if someone could find an affordable site there, it seems like it would be a nice place to settle into for a week or more. It appeared that the town has some degree of up-scale nature to it with what appeared to be a number of secondary residences.

Licata is a wonderful city.
Licata is a wonderful city. Food and hospitality are great, and their beaches are fantastic. Licata has an issue with water and trash. Water out of the faucet cannot be consumed, and there is a lot of trash, weeds, and animal waste on the street. Licata always had issues in these categories.

I would definitely recommend the accomodation..
I would definitely recommend the accomodation..
However, we should have looked at the guide book before travelling.
It states - Licata is a sad, unattractive, downtrodden town - it is.
A few hours, maybe an overnight stay, would have been enough, then move on...
Delightful welcoming hosts, who were helpful and advised local eateries and places to visit.
A beautiful, elegant and spacious villa overlooking the Licata coast.
Peaceful, tranquil, birdsong the only sound.
Plentiful, freshly cooked breakfast, spotlessly clean, house and mature gardens lush and well maintained.
Daily maid service, our room, bathroom and balcony were kept immaculate for us.
Pool is huge and super-clean. Loungers and terraces are comfortable.
Overnight stay on the way to Agrigento/valley of temple. Wonderful owner operated hotel. Spacious and clean room. Restaurant just above the hotel with good seafood. Good and plentiful breakfast. Plenty of free/safe parking. Located right off the main road - easy to find. Quiet and safe area. Good value. Definitely recommend staying here.

The host was very kind, she prepared us a real Sicilian breakfast.
The room and toilet are excellent, spacious and very clean, with all the necessary facilities.
This object is very close to the center od Licata.
Town Licata is cheaper (cafes, restaurants) to stay than some other sicilian towns.
Clean and comfortable apartment, beautiful view and great location just few steps to the beach. Secure parking. Very helpful and friendly hosts.
There is no air conditioner and dishwasher, but the most of the properties are missing these facilities in Sicily.
For us it was not an issue at all)) We will come back!
Comfortable room with big private bathroom.
Incredibly kind host, Marco was friendly and made us feel super welcomed.
He gave us advice and general info about Licata and best places to visit and to eat at and surprised us in the morning with a tray of fresh croissants. It was absolutely a delight.
Amazing flat, spacious, designed with a lot of love by the owner Giuseppe and his father. Giuseppe was very helpful, a late checkout was no problem and he had great tips what to see and do around Licata.
Thanks again for having us ☺️✌️
The place was as described and you had a wonderful view over Licata.
There was parking outside. The host helped us with everything and replied within minutes.
Would recommend the place for everyone who is visiting Licata.
Beautifully styled spotless but also functional appartment, with really big rooms, located in the old town of Licata. Really helpful and friendly hosts. It was a pleasure staying at Appartmento Porto Marina!
Great breakfast, excellent service. The view from the accommodation is amazing, and the environment is very quiet and serene. The ultimate place to relax in Licata, and close to two great beaches.
very good location, bus station, railway are just 5 minutes by foot, and also a gastronomical gem of Licata — restaurant La Madia.
Everything in room was new, very convenient
We had a great time. The house was super comfy and clean. We loved the athmosphere and the cute dogs on the property. If we ever go back to Licata that's our place to stay!
The location is wonderful and convenient. The apartments are beautiful and very clean. The rooftop was an added bonus. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Licata.
It was very clean , excellently located near the center, and the breakfast and view during breakfast was excellent. There is also great parking in front of the hotel.
