B&B Batarà - "La Terrazza del Centro", hotel in Agrigento

B&B Batarà - "La Terrazza del Centro" features accommodations in Agrigento near Teatro Luigi Pirandello and Agrigento Train Station.

We had a nice, spacious room, which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was on the terrace, which was very nice. Lots of variety on offer. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We never met the owner but he was very communicative and answered our emails promptly. We had to park about a 10-15 minute walk away; parking is free on weekends, holidays, and from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am during the week. During the day, it is 1 euro per hour, but you could prepay the night before for the following day.

If you like ancient ruins you will like visiting the Valley of the Temples near Agrigento. Agrigento itself was a delight to be in on a Saturday night. We had a great meal, wandered the street while people-watching, did a little shopping. Enjoyed the evening immensely.

An incredible city full of history that is impossible to absorb with only one visit. The Valley of Temples is breathtaking, and leaves a visitor in awe of its rich past. This is my second visit to Agrigento, but it’s never enough because there is so much to learn and appreciate here.

Agrigento has many historical places to visit e.g. the Cathedral and it is near by The Valley of the Temples. Food is good and the centre is cosy. Agrigento is a city to walk quite a few stairs and small alleys, be prepared to walk!!! It is worth a visit!

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace.

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace. There was a refresment waiting for us (coffe, juice, water, small cake). Room was clean, nice smell. But we spent there a night in January and the heating was not working. I wanted to reheat by warm shower, but there was not enought hot water to even wash my hair. I was frozen and catch a cold over the night. The bed was very noisy with each small move. The window was oposite to a building, very dark inside. All I will remember is dark and cold room. Shell I add how long we were looking for a place to park the car in those tiny streets?

The house is located in the historic part of Agrigento, a few minutes bus ride from the Valley of the Temples, the main tourist attraction. The owners were friendly and welcoming; they provided helpful information for my visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb and included a variety of food items typical in that part of Sicily; the owners also offered 'doggy bags' with breakfast leftovers for the visitors to munch-on later. Overall - a 'feel good' visiting experience.

Wow! I don't usually leave reviews, but both Casa Tita and Fabio and Alessandro are so fabulous. Their welcome is so generous and helpful, and I was genuinely embarrassed by the incredible breakfast they had prepared for us ( local foods, specialties, and treats). I would welcome them to stay with us as friends, but who would leave the life in Sicily for the rain in England for a holiday? Great accommodation, spotlessly clean, warm (important in February) and attention to detail

Literally everything from our host Francesco who is so welcoming, helpful and just top level service all the time, to his INSANELY GREAT rooftop terraces with the best sunset view. Nothing was missing, breakfast was amazing and we wished we could have a place like that everywhere in Sicily! The house has a great history and you can really feel the soul. Explore all the terraces, plants and small corners of the place! The rooms are spacious with everything you need.

La pagliera was the best and most memorable place we stayed while in Sicily. Ciccio and Susi have transformed a barn into a gorgeous, welcoming, intimate, comfortable B&B. Each special architectural detail and furnishing has an interesting story. Our host, Ciccio, was very personable and entertaining. He exudes love for Susi, this property and Sicily. The breakfast food was abundant, unique and delicious. La pagliera is truly special.

Krysos Luxury Rooms were our best stay in Sicily, by far. Andrea is taking care of every single detail to make his guests feel comfortable. He helped us with the parking, he gave us very useful information about where to park for visiting sites, and also good recommendations for restaurants. The apartment was spotless clean, well appointed, quiet, and it looks better in reality compared with the pictures.

We had a booking in Agrigento but did not feel safe in the township so made a last minute booking for Hotel Villa Athena, a small luxury hotel set within an olive Grove in the valley of the temples. It was amazing from start to finish, customer focused, comfortable, amazing food and wine, and a front row view of the valley of the temples. I cannot recommend highly enough.

It's a newly renovated beautiful apartment. The host is a very warm and considerate lady who cooked breakfast for us. This was our best breakfast in Sicily. She had told us about the Almond Blossom festival so luckyly we were able to catch the performance and the party. If I ever come back to this area no doubt I will choose her place again.

Such a great place! Located near Agrigento with a view on the temples. But more than this, such a nice family that manages this B&B. We have traveled the tour of Sicily, but this was by far our best experience. And let's not forget the animals that live there, especially Tito the dog... this little guy stole my heart :-)

Direct access to the agrigento site - hotel sells tickets to the heritage park. Great Benefit to visitors. Clean everything - toiletries, bed, even provided sleepers. The only place that did in winter in Sicily where the floors were covered in stone and were permanently cold. Hot water and warm in the room.

Comfiest bed and pillow I’ve had in a month travelling around Sicily. Own bathroom but not en-suite Check-in in person but easy with good communication and helpful host. Basic breakfast.. help yourself to bread and jam yoghurt, tea and coffee. Clean enough and location close enough to everything.

It had one of the most convenient parking during our Sicily tour, right in front of building. Only two flights of stairs up. Very close to the temple valley, and a short drive a way from restaurants. Spacious well-equipped room. Great local breakfast was awaiting downstairs at 8.30.
