The common area facilities are beautiful, clean and the room was lovely, with its lake view. The staff were so accommodating with everything! The food from the bar was delicious!
The International Hotel is a brand-new establishment offering the ideal facilities for a comfortable holiday in the Sebino area, right by the Iseo Lake.

The International Hotel is exceptional for the price. My room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and air conditioned. Housekeeping cleaned the room and brought fresh towels daily. There was a 24-hour reception and the concierge called a cab for me when I departed. The breakfast was wonderful with the normal Italian breakfast foods but also hot scrambled eggs and bacon. The hotel is also a short walk from the center of Iseo and the train station.
Located right in the heart of Iseo, in the town's main square and on the harbor, AMBRA HOTEL - The only central lakeside hotel in Iseo is surrounded by shops and restaurants.
Iseo Lago Hotel is set in extensive gardens, and offers a free beach and outdoor pools. Parking is free on site, and the hotel is a 10-minute walk to the town center.

Good breakfast and 3-course dinner was very good, which made half board worth it. Access to a private part of the lake was really close 2-5min by foot. The hotel rooms were really clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Free parking is right in front of the hotel!
A 5-minute walk from the shores of Lake Iseo, Locanda Diana offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi next to Iseo Train Station. It features a restaurant, garden and playground.

Iseo has a very nice old town, full of good restaurants and bars.
Do not miss the market twice a week with local products and try the Franciacorta sparkling wine (much better than Prosecco).
Do not miss the trip on the lake to Monte Iseo and the walking up and/or down the hill to the little church at the top. I feel, that it is easier to take the small local bus to the top and to walk down from the church.
Brescia is also very near and can easily be reached by train.

Centro Storico in Iseo was great. I loved it.
Centro Storico in Iseo was great. I loved it. A mix of eclectic shops and very charming, very old buildings. Monte Isola, a large island with steep terrain, was pure magic. I loved it there.
Biking is a disappointment. The east side of the lake, heading south from Lovere down to Iseo, is torn up from construction and the bike paths as well as continuous train and bus service is blocked. On the west side, from Iseo to Sarnico and north to Lovere, almost all of the route is on a highway including at least two long tunnels that feel quite dangerous when large trucks roar past. Also, in October the winter ferry schedule begins and the service is not frequent. You can't jump on a ferry and go clear around the lake.
I made the mistake of renting a manual bike, thinking the terrain was mostly flat, and how bad could it be? The bike I had felt like I was biking through sand--a lot of exertion and not much oomph. Iseo is around 32 km from Lovere. I thought I could grab a ferry back but the next departure was a few hours away at 6:45 pm. I had to bike all the way back the same way I came. A fun outing became a grueling ordeal, but the scenery and the towns along the way was spectacular.

I loved the laid back non commercialism of Iseo.
I loved the laid back non commercialism of Iseo. It was just what I hoped it would be. Just the right size to walk everywhere. Catch the ferry to other villages and the island of Monte Isola . Great train connections for further exploring . Friendly cafes and bars.
It felt like a good mix of locals and visitors but it was the end of the season. Nice architecture and some interesting old churches .
Not the place to visit if you want any sort of night life. More suited to walkers and cyclists and nature lovers.

Iseo was a great base for exploring the area.
Iseo was a great base for exploring the area. Ideal for people who want to relax by the lake, or go hiking, cycling, swimming. Great town with plenty of restaurants, bars, and gelato spots. Nice buzz even in late September, great weather mid-20's deg C. A car would have been handy but we travelled by bicycle or train.
Travelled from Bergamo airport by bus & train. Some delays with trains. Went back to Milan one day early to avoid stress of train delays when returning to the airport on final day.

The Iseo lake surrounding has so much to offer.
The Iseo lake surrounding has so much to offer.
Besides the villages along the lake, also the Bergamo alps, Bergamo, Brescia, the Francciacorta wine region, nature reserves, panchina gigante
locations. and Monte Isola.
Good food. It is very easy to reach the area from Milano Malpensa. 1.5 hours by car.
The Araba Fenice Hotel has an amazing and stunning location right at the Lake Iseo! We booked a room with lake view, this was extraordinary.
For Dinner I can recommend the Restaurant of the Hotel, direct view and amazing cuisine.
The staff of the hotel is very friendly.
Due to Covid regulations, the breakfast is served like a service buffet. That takes the experience of having a relaxed breakfast, however the stuff is trying to help out.
After check-out we did a little trip to the island of Monte Isola.
Fabulous apartment in the heart of Iseo, a stone’s throw from the lake. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, with some lovely pieces of furniture and art added as a bonus. The apartment is spacious and has a large terrace with a sofa. All very relaxing! Free parking is available in parts of Iseo and Ana, the owner, was more than happy to show us where we could park. The apartment was lovely, as was Ana’s welcome, which was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay.
I loved everything, the host Flaminio and his wife were really nice and helped us in everything. We came earlier than expected and he let us park the car way before the check-in.
The location is breathtaking as it's the typical italian house and a great terrace, the only one in the building! Plus, the view, we had Lake Iseo in front of us and we were in the center!
Best choice if you are a family or a solo traveler, as well!
Thank you again, Flaminio!
Roberta loves her town and the lake and her interest in making sure that we were getting the most out of our stay was very much appreciated. She was offering suggestions for our stay and was easy to contact if I had a question, to which she responded quickly. She certainly enhanced our appreciation of our time in Lago Iseo.
The view from the room was spectacular and it was central to all we needed for our time at the lake.
Love this spot. Great facilities, access to the lake, short walk to town, clean & well maintained showers & toilets. Great base for exploring all the towns on the lake, cycling, hiking, swimming. Small nature reserve nearby. Supermarkets within walking distance. Helpful staff. Bike rental on site. Amazing food in the restaurants in town. A week at the end of September was lovely and quiet here. Loved our time at Lake Iseo!
Very good location facing the lake. When booking it would be good to opt for the lake facing room as the other rooms do not have much of a view. Breakfast is simple. The hotel staff, especially Iulia/Julia were very helpful, attentive and friendly. Iulia gave excellent recommendations on places to eat, visit etc.
elegant old hotel with scenic location on lake; staff exceptional, outgoing and very helpful, good breakfast. bit of a mildew odor in corridor but not in our lakeside room. those without cars should plan outings carefully as trains are sometimes 2 hours apart. Pilzone itself is not a tourist attraction.
The campsite was in a great location next to the lake and the railway station. There is a cycle track to the the closest town Iseo. The campsite was clean and the mobile home we booked was perfect. Our host was friendly and even gave us some croissants for our homeward journey
We stayed three nights at Panorama Iseo and we loved it. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
From the balcony and breakfast terrace you have a wonderful view over the lake. There are many things to do and see. We will definitely return.
Best stay in a long time. Views from our balcony was superb. Restaurant was excellent and Head Waiter, Stefan, was wonderful. We ate there all four nights of our stay. Breakfast was also great with a perfect setting overlooking Lake Iseo.
Fantastic location with fuld view of the lake from our room. Nice big room and bath. Good restaurant and very friendly staff. We would love to come back again. Area and smalll towns around Lago d'Iseo are worth a visit.
Very clean Italian style apartment by the lake. Loved the outdoor patio area to sit and read. Owner is really nice and helpful. We will be coming back here again!
